Fiel a mi estilo, quería pasarlo en mi casa como siempre lo he hecho, pero la familia pudo más y allá fuimos.

Viéndome como estaba físicamente en ese momento, creo que estaba mejor que ahora. Recuerdo que estaba saliendo del reto burpees anual y me sentía pleno realmente. Esa jarra amarilla donde preparábamos el fernet, es de un canal de YouTube muy famoso, pero tan famoso, que no recuerdo el nombre 😁. Así soy, bastante olvidadizos y más aún de las cosas superficiales.

Seeing me as I was physically at the time, I think I was better than I was now. I remember coming out of the annual burpees challenge and I felt really full. That yellow jug where we prepared the fernet, is from a very famous YouTube channel, but so famous, that I don't remember the name 😁. That's how I am, quite forgetful and even more so of superficial things.
Mi amigo no es de hacer asado y a decir verdad, yo tampoco. Pero ese día, me armé de coraje y paciencia y me puse manos a la obra. Recibí el aplauso de todos los comensales, sinceramente no sé si fue por cortesía o de verdad estaba rico. Tampoco importaba mucho, ya que en momentos festivos y más aún el 31 de diciembre, en lo particular me siento muy eufórico, por lo que fue el año y por lo que vendrá.

It's those simple moments, as a family, with my children and Ricardo's children, Pamela and Zuni, that they didn't know each other. There we were, two Argentine families living a moment of hubbub and celebrations. I really remember it fondly to all of them and especially that moment, in that place.
Dicen por ahí, que recordar es volver a vivir. Sinceramente no lo sé, pero me encantó recordar este momento. Creo que como seres humanos, tenemos una cierta obligación, de generar momentos como estos para nuestras familias y sobre todo, para nosotros. Creo que eso es lo que nos llevamos de este plano y más nada.

Soy una persona que siempre me estoy poniendo metas, algunas algunas las puedo llevar a cabo y otras no tanto. Pero siempre intentando mejorar mi situación y disfrutar el proceso. No soy de los que piensan de que debemos solamente disfrutar del momento porque es lo único que tenemos. Quizás sí, pero el futuro depende de las decisiones que tomamos hoy. Lo material es muy importante y el dinero más aún. Conservarlo, invertirlo es nuestra responsabilidad.

Así reza un refrán caído en desuso porque en el pasado la esperanza de vida era mucho más corta, y la gente como que no se bañaba como hoy día.
No ha pasado un año, así que el estropeo no se debe al tiempo transcurrido. Más bien me atrevo a especular que la causa sea el esfuerzo al que te has sometido en cumplimiento del reciente logro alcanzado. Un maratón 42 K en toda regla.
Burpes, pedales y caminatas o carreras, están bien. Pero dale un descanso al cuerpo que ya no tiene 40, sino medio cupón.
Salud y bienestar ante todo, un abrazo fuerte.
Así es estimado Félix e igualmente, siempre intento implementar el descanso en mi vida. Principalmente, porque lo disfruto tanto como entrenar y también porque sé de su importancia.
Extraño los burpees y es muy probable que vuelva al ruedo, hasta que salga, algún proyecto nuevo... Aunque @zutodoterreno y me está pasando reels de Instagram y las distancias se alargan jaja.

Me encantó cómo lograste transmitir la esencia de esos momentos simples que se vuelven inolvidables. Se siente la alegría de estar en familia, la unión de amigos y esa chispa especial que tienen las celebraciones de fin de año. Leer tu relato es como estar allí, compartiendo un brindis, un asado improvisado y, sobre todo, la compañía de quienes queremos.
