Poetic practice - Fear the Technique

in Blockchain Poets2 years ago

Only an idiot will listen
Only a fool will follow
The wise tend to hasten
The knowledgeable are never hollow

Words can always break you
If you give them power
Sticks and stones breaks bodies blue
Frown and glare as your anger tower

Stomach aches sure hurt
The pain makes you lurch
Sanity demands you to be curt
Spiral stairs you preach, church

Stare into the evening fire
Stare long enough you burn
Stare deep as time is dire
Stare into that voids churn

Eyes open greeting light
Days of opportune they come
Steadfast away from fright
Fear has the crowd succumb

Moths into the flame
Brightness mesmerized to oblivion
For every gloom there are claim
Avoid missing out on bazillion

Headless chickens running around
Tail chasing round and round

Practice practice practice

Moths into the flame
Brightness mesmerized to oblivion
For every gloom there are claim
Avoid missing out on bazillion

In this stanza,I was captivated by the rhymes, "oblivion""bazillion".

Two words of distinctive meaning
I did not really understand the use bazillion in the last line.

Nice write up, great work.

I am influenced by the current crypto price fall.

Hope this helps.

Have always quoted

"Meaning are inclined with a writer than in words"

Thanks for the explanation.

Welcome.

Although the real test for me in these practice is to see what people interpret them to be when they read them. If it gets more than one interpretation then it's succeeded.
