pue el arma oscura se calle
y el odio no nos avasalle.
Que reine la comprensión
y cese la opresión,
sembrando amor, pura bondad
para toda la humanidad,
en cada pueblo y nación.

Let the cannon leave its noise
for a welcome song,
so that the dark gun may be silenced
And hatred no longer overwhelms us.
Let understanding reign
and oppression cease,
sowing love, pure goodness
for all humanity,
in every people and nation.
