Oblivion came into my life
like a divine chaos, a whirlpool,
blurring every step, every voice,
losing myself in the shadows of a destiny.
I didn't know, I wondered silently,
where did I go, where did my dreams vanish to?
Memories, like leaves in autumn
fell softly, scattered far away.
Oblivion, sweet thief of moments,
a breeze that envelops and embraces me,
but there is in my breast a flame burning,
a ray of hope that never tires.
It became a white flag, a refuge,
beyond my own will,
a whisper of what I was and long for,
a distant echo in the loneliness.
