Respect in life and death

(practice in Rhyme)

Of steel and sun, the knights collide,
A clash of strength, a warrior's pride.
Bright shields gleam, swords sing their song,
Right against wrong, where hopes belong.

Dust rises up, a swirling cloud,
Two brave hearts, both fierce and proud.
One falls to knee, his spirit strong,
He'll rise again, where he belongs.

A moment's pause, a whispered plea,
For honor, truth, for all to see.
The victor stands, with heavy breath,
Respect in life, respect in death.

I enjoyed reading this. The meter was fun. The rhymes were good and I liked the ending. Nice write.

Caution! Note the low reputation, it has several negative votes, and its text appears to be 80% AI.

Maybe, but the reputation score just means he's been downvoted by a lot of HP, which can happen due to a single person's decision. I'm not sure why he was downvoted, but in this community what I care about is authentic human interaction and support of each others' poetry. In that respect, he is doing better than the status quo for many of those who post in the community.

thank you!

You're welcome.
