I really don't know why it's always like this.. Nobody want to show anybody their real self. They always prefer to hide who they truly are. Perhaps we are looking for that one person we feel we are meant to be with and so we can be so open for the person to read us. That shouldn't be the case though.. I believe we are meant to show everyone who we truly are.

A dark side of the nature of man, is to think less of the people he has more information about. There’s a certain moderation to not revealing everything about ourselves.

I agree that we are on some level meant to be comfortable with who we are and be known for it, but there’s just certain aspects that you can and should share with a select few.

But a central theme here is; it doesn’t really matter how much you show, people will only see what they choose to see.
