Some pains are hard to express and it cuts across life
A lot of people couldn't express the pain of losing their wife
Others feel like a failure and feel they couldn't thrive
They gave their all but still it amounts to nothing, no thrive
Imagine starting a business for 3 years only to lose everything
Imagine having a child only to lose that child after 3 years
My heart goes to those who lost a loved one they hold so dear
It's better imagined than experienced for most people
They would give anything to imagine it instead of experiencing it
Life can be hard and some pains are so hard to express
I find it funny when people act insensitive to people's plight
Regardless of your reservations for them or previous fight
Learn to be human when others go through things
That's not the right time to stick one more into them
You don't have to understand the situation before you can show humanity
Everyone has the rights to their feelings but show more humanity
This is a call for us to remember we are humans so let's show sanity
Even an animal grieve the loss of its baby, more so humans
Stop trying to rationalize what doesn't make sense to you
It doesn't have to make sense to you because it's not your pain
For those grieving, I pray your tears gets washed off by God's rain

You will never get over the loss of your loved one. It may get a bit easier as time goes on, but seriously, you’ll never get over it completely. Loss and grief may or may not be the same due to how attached one person is to the other. I've lost the love of my life. And he is and will always be the best man I have ever met.
It's very hard to get over and I am so sorry about your loss. It might get easier overtime but it's not something we can get over completely as you have said.
But I never forgot how much my fond memories of them had helped me to survive and stay strong. God is giving us chances to do and prove things before we pass away by allowing us to remain alive. Always be thankful for that.
We have to be thankful for that. I am with you on this.

Some pains are hard to express and I'm glad you shared this too. Losing a loved one especially a parent losing a child. There is no amount of consoling words that can reduce the pain. We just have to help and pray for them to get the strength to move on.
It's very painful and tough to deal with and I am always surprised when people just speak anyhow.
I don't think I could express this any better than you have here. It's bizarre to me that loss is everywhere yet almost no one seems to have personally experienced it. People have tried to empathize, but they can't put themselves exactly through what I have been through. Every sentiment rings hollow. Every bit of advice stings. It's easy to drop a word or two on a hurting soul, but it's more harm than good if you don't actually understand the loss.
This is true. Most of the time a lot of people cannot understand the pain because only the person that feels it can feel it deeper. They can encourage but only the person with the shoe knows where it hurts.
