RE: Birthday Lunch

Your words are true, these little food are warm, not only to the stomach but also to the soul especially when laughter and joy are shared amongst those around the table.

This made me crave for dimsums and dumplings too. Reminds me of the times spent with with Chinese friends enjoying various flavor of them.

I read below that it is your grandmom's birthday. I wish her Happiest Birthday and many more joyful years!

Thank You! We're actually celebrating it again today. Yesterday my aunt drove 2 hours and came over to celebrate early. Basically we went to a restaurant and had cake yesterday. Today will be potluck, homecooked meals, and gifts :). She's currently 80-90 years old, but I don't know for sure because the government messed up her birth certificate

Oh wow! That sounds a really fun celebration. Being able to spend your day and time with your family circle to enjoy your grandmom's birthday is amazing.

I'm sorry though that her birth certificate has been messed up. Hope it will get fixed real soon.
