RE: "Up the stairs again" — (original poem + processed photos)

I really enjoyed the poem, but the third stanza was the one I felt the most connection with. The first stanza reminded me of home and the little things you don't notice till their gone. The second stanza seemed like an inner conflict: Love of home vs. love of nature with the wood being the "knot".
The third stanza by far hit it for me. I've spent a lot of time living on the outside of towns (suburbs), and the first two lines of that stanza "look like" suburbs. Always seeming so pristine but if you take the time to notice, it's just a different messy than in the city. A lot of the time there are no sidewalks and the obnoxious amount of landscaping would make Picasso puke. And the last two lines just tell me 'this is home and it's comfortable'. I enjoyed the read very much. Thank you.
