The cup of tears is in progress.
It is a way of speaking,
In short supply of wording.
When the heart is deeply touched.
And two things are attached.
Both overly stretched;
Like tears of joy reached,
Like tears of sorrow clutched.
As one heavy and cumbersome,
As one light and wholesome.
That kind thing that the heart knows,
But the mind hasn't been named yet in rows,
So what is the show?
As non-living can't touch,
And be touched.
The sets here are dispatched,
The sets here are hatched.
Connectively employed,
Involvingly deployed.
So what about the present time,
In the highest prime.
Where everything is in excess,
And a beating heart is an access.
As the heart is deeply touched,
Having two sets is pitched.
The sets that touch the heart in joyful reach,
Living the experience of tears of joyful winks.
And sets that touch the heart to teach,
Collecting cups of tears to drinks.
As everything is in excess,
The cup of tears is in progress.
I found your idea of a "cup of tears" compelling, suggesting as it does a state of emotional readiness or overflow. Both the imagery and structure evoke a sense of ongoing emotional processing. Nice one :)
The pleasure is mine. Thanks for taking the time to read through and view a thoughtful comment. Greetings.
