Our Princess slumps in a heap
eyes wide with jittery grief
Her heir is swaddled up tight
wailing at the dawn's dim light
Surrounded by grey and black
in snow mixed with falling ash
The smell of the burning beds
maternity ward for the dead
Still it comes
The Red Ogre from the East
in mad, greedy rage unleashed
vile criminal savagery
Burning air for those who breathe
metal shards for those who eat
flashbulb death for those who see
hell for those who stay or flee
he screams for more agony
Still it comes
