I really like the way you build a picture of the back and forth that happens with the internal dialogue.
Not an easy feat in a poem. Also, I like the imagery of:
not sure if dreams of
paintings count as artistic
inventions or fantastic
illusions.
I have these types of psychedelic dreams as well... and they swing between the inspiring and the downright confusing 😂
