A poignant and dark poem. It's hard when one is sucked so deep into depression that the only way out seems to be to look down instead of looking up. We don't always see ourselves through the eyes of others - it's sad because so many people who profess to feel worthless are actually incredibly valued by those around them. We should all take the opportunity to tell our family and friends how much we love and appreciate them... but don't just say it...show it and allow them to feel it.
