The calendar is almost obsolete
abandoned by the days
which date as dry leaves
Wild numbers are racing around
towards the final twilight
until it is reddish in color
It's sooty at night
the stars look twinkling
The crowd is just waiting
When the countdown
Just then the church bells rang
Everything went off like fireworks
Between the sounds of trumpets and sirens
Everyone hugged each other
And time has slipped

An end of days, of years bid farewell between revelry and colorful dances, strident music setting the mood for the joy of a new time.
Beautiful verses.
Good day.
