Life can go from 100% to 0% in the twinkle of an eye. Since it's just a matter of time, and perhaps almost everyone will get to that point one time or the other..
What is more worst than a life not fully lived, a live where we let the past define the present,
a life spent only half alive
Reflecting on this last part of the poem reminds me that whatever part of our human make up we didn't use to its full potential will only be wasted when that time comes..
Over time, I've learnt that life is made up of ups and down, that's actually what makes it interesting, and we should live either way fully aware that we're alive and living as if tomorrow is not promised.
I feel that is how we are for the most part - maybe less than half alive. Instead, we look at what is fed us, like robots reading code.
