tell me as it is don't mince your words
afterall I'll be damned with your blunt mouth
thats better than being pierced by a blunt sword
word on the street is the street is strict
its the survival of the fittest in this world we reside
a slip in the waves you're captured by the tides
it's a life of perspectives you just have to choose sides
funny how it doesn't have a manual, one's mind is one's guide
Hiding from one's shadows will always be a futile mission
for in shadows and light, our destinies confide,
with each decision made, our fates coincide
the rhythms of every heartbeat tells a tale
In the labyrinth of choices, we seek to make long lasting impressions
We are made through uncertainties, far and wide,
seeking truths in the waves of this relentless tide
so therefore as dawn meets dusk, the soul's quest abides,
no one got your back except you
no roadmap etched, no set rules to abide,
Just the heart's compass in this wild, charting one's ride to glory.
Your poem expresses very well the uncertainty we feel in the face of living, crossed by the contradictions that constitute us as human beings. Greetings, @typebox.
