I'm just like you I'm not innocent too
thought you were mine
only to find out it was just my turn
to think I was in control
Just to realize I was just a pawn
now that happy face is now forlon
the truth in your lies I can't just fathom
I learned too late, trust is a game,
where victories vanish but the losses remain.
I gambled my heart, thinking I could win,
only to lose it to the chaos within.
She's a runner , she's a track star
the street is her comfort not the home
I searched for solace in your embrace,
yet found only echoes of a lost trace.
the laughter we shared has turned to sighs
So here I stand, with my heart on my sleeve,
wishing for moments my mind can’t retrieve.
I'll rise from the ashes, rebuild what is real,
for even in heartache, there’s strength to heal.
