Cradled in embrace, Cradled in a safe place,
No need to wonder, No need to think,
Idle moments asleep, Idle moments free.
What is comfort? What is trouble?
With a simple mind, With simple thoughts,
No worries for the present, No care for complexity,
Until when will this be, Until then shall it be.
They felt confusion now, They felt fear now,
What is happening?! What is this feeling?!
They could not choose, They could not resist.
The warmth gone, The home gone,
All was unknown, All was too sudden,
Out into the world, Out into the light,
In stranger hands, In stranger lands,
By the will of God, By the will of man,
Unto the world they came, Unto the world they are birthed.
Bringing a child into this world is the greatest gift from the universe. Children definitely bring an undescribable and unmeasurable amount of joy into a parent's heart and life.
This is an amazing poem, well done
This is a beautiful poem. It speaks about the child's comfort in the mother's womb, unknown of the world outside, the light and darkness in the world.
Then. . The sudden movement... the cries, and the strange voices which becomes clearer and the hands that gently touches their exposed skin.
Well done.
