The crypto space isn't stopping at nothing yet, developers are not backing down despite the relentless efforts from regulatory authorities to slow down crypto adoption, with great power comes great responsibility and bitcoin being a decentralized asset and its great community are building none stop, did you ever thought of storing your generated crypto private keys as colour? Well it never occurred to me for once as things seems to be unfolding fast than we could imagine, a tools alternative to generated alpha numeric keys backup system have been introduced by a developer which requires storing your keys using colours, this new concept save one the stress of either writing a collection of their 12-24 phrase keys and storing them in a computer file or exposing them on written paper where it can easily be accessed by third parties the idea of BIP39 colour is to make users phrase keys more resilient against any phishing malware and any corresponding physical attack.

Anyone can have an active crypto wallet, but not all are incline on how to safely store their private keys, even the most popular means of storing crypto which are using hardware devices like ledger s nano wallet can sometimes be compromised, also memorizing private keys can be quite a difficult process for anyone I guess only few people could go through the stress of memorizing their long string of alpha mnemonic phrase keys the most common way which is written paper storage isn't considered a safe means of storage there can be fire outbreak which can lead to burt of paper these are all some limitations attached to the most popular means of saving our generated private cryptographic keys.

With the new BIP39Colour tool which refers to Bitcoin Improvement Proposal 39 using colour, which describes the mnemonic seed phrase generation and recovery process for cryptocurrency wallets using colour combinations, can we have a more hack proof resistance wallet that can't be accessed by the most sophisticated device? Well quantum computer could literally hack into anything maybe, just saying though a mere speculation. Any idea introduced that will strengthen and boost privacy in the crypto space is a welcome idea and this one isn't such a bad call.

BIP39 colour tools

How about storing those long string of mnemonic phrase as colour? And save yourself stress of memorizing strings of words and numbers. This concept can be easily remembered, it also allow a users to distribute their colour to several users, store them as pictures on web as puzzle hide your bitcoin private keys embedded as colour or Gifs.

BIP39Colour is a open source tool that can be used to convert a user's generated BIP39 mnemonic phrase into different colours and also turns user generated colours into BIP39 mnemonic phrase keys. Allowing users to convert their 12 word phrase keys into 8 colours and 24 word phrase in 16 colours.

The tool can be directly accessed on the developer website were users can play with their generated BIP39 mnemonic phrase keys.

Colour are everywhere

Because of BIP39 compatibility features a user can store his BIP39 mnemonic phrase keys as Image, colour palette making it impossible for hackers to easily detect additionally a user dont need to orderly arrange given colour in order unlike word phrase keys that need one to arrange every word for word before they can access their wallet.

My thoughts on BIP39 colour tool

The compatibility of this new tool makes it a real flex for users to store their phrase keys in colour, it is quite a very go option, distributing ones colour in different places also makes it very impossible for hackers to locate all different colour locations were they are hidden which is an additional feature that is not present in most wallet that requires one to put down all their given phrase keys in one piece.

Considering how sensitive our private keys are I see this new feature as a very simple and easy way for users to safeguard their wallet from online theft and increase their wallet security.

Well, what are your thoughts on this new security feature will you give it a try would you prefer to store your bitcoin using 12-24 word phrase or choose colour tool to secure your bitcoin? Let's hear your view on this.
