Bringing the little kid to big event like kaamatan is one way to introduce the culture to younger generation which is very important to let the kid know where we come from. In the same time , wearing the kadazan outfit during the festival is another way to show this culture not just to her kid but also to other people who come at those festival.

I saw a Mother in a complete set of traditional cloth holding her son looking in my Mum and Aunty's direction. During that time, my Mum and Aunty busy searching for traditional's T-shirts that they like.

Dumpas is one of kadazan dusun branch from nunukragang root that not many people know . Good job for @callmelula to introduce this culture to everyone for submitting this photo for sabahan photo-contest .

It’s almost the same like other Dusun traditional dress but with with as the top and using the “samping” cloth. The Dusun Dumpas population are mostly on Beluran. Most specific place is on the small population of Sapi Nango area. You can see them wearing for wedding but most of all during Kaamatan season.

Paling terbaek membawa budak-budak pigi kaamatan sebab buli kasi kenal ni budaya kita sama generasi muda tentang asal usul kita. Pakai baju kadazan dusun lagi tu , paling ngam untuk kasi kenal budaya kita sama tu budak-budak sama org yang datang pg kaamatan.
