Last year, I decided to become a Shopee affiliate.
Shopee is one of the leading e-commerce platforms where a wide range of products across various categories is being offered.
As far as I know, it operates in several countries, including Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, the Philippines, Taiwan, and Brazil.
There you have the opportunity to promote products and earn commissions through their affiliate links.
One thing I particularly enjoyed as an affiliate was creating Shopee videos.
My process was simple: I'd record a video showcasing my purchase online, and then share it on Shopee Video.
It's easily accessible via the bottom option menu on the Shopee app.
Making my videos engaging, I'd capture every detail of the product, add the product link to my video, and upload it.
It was a fun and interactive way to share my shopping experiences and help others discover great products.
And it's a win-win. 🏆
I got to share my passion for shopping, and my audience got valuable insights into the products I loved.
And to my delight, people started buying the items I promoted!
Although a few pesos here and there might seem small, they accumulate into a substantial amount when earned daily or weekly.
What I also found fascinating was that some products didn't even offer commissions, yet I couldn't help but promote them because they were just that good.
I guess you could say I was a bit of a product evangelist, spreading the word about items that truly deserved attention. 🤭
Even without the commission incentive, I knew I was helping these sellers get sales, and that felt rewarding in itself.
At the end of the day, I took pride in knowing that I'd helped someone discover a product that might make their life a little bit better.
And who knows?
Maybe one day, those sellers I'd promoted out of goodwill would return the favor, and I'd benefit from their success. 💯

That's what I like about being an affiliate. Even your old videos can earn money if Shopee promotes them. It's okay nga if you order a lot, mas may chance kang makapromote ng items haha. Yun nga lang makipanahon talaga.

Yeah. Time talaga problema sa mga ganitong work e. But if you have free time, try to record those items that you purchased, sayang naman kasi.
