Hi, fellow Pinoy in this Bayanihive community! 🥰🌷
Today I'm sharing our story after Typhoon Uwan.
It's already been a week since that typhoon swept through our area yet without electricity and Wi-Fi immediately after the storm, I had to wait patiently to process everything and share it with you.
Because the winds were fierce, it bent some of the trees.

The rice paddies were affected too. The floodwaters overflowed into the fields, causing concern among the farmers.

But we're still thankful that the damage wasn't too severe. Which is a relief because I know how much the farmers care about their crops.
Our way of life, especially when it comes to cooking, also takes a simple turn.
The electric stove is out of order because it has no electricity at that moment, so we had to get creative.
With large rocks, we made a makeshift stove. And with woods and pieces of bamboo, we created a fire pit.

My son, Ryzen, also enjoys helping out.
He's the one stirring the fire, fanning it, to keep the flames steady.

It's a joyful task for him.
Just don't notice his slippers. 😆
I also always notice that moment, the stunning sunset.

Though the typhoon makes our life kinda hard because of having no electricity, it shows how life can still be beautiful because of the surroundings.
It may be a goodbye before the earth gets dark, but the orange skies show how beautiful a sunset can be.
And when it gets dark, look who gets excited and happy. 💖

A shadow discovery and playtime for Aiden. 🥰
This typhoon gives us a lot of memories.
It gave us challenges, yes, but the nights where the stars shine so bright, and the beautiful sunset, make us enjoy every simple moment that we didn't notice if there's wifi and electricity.
Until our next moments...
Thanks for the visit! Have a lovely day. Buh-bye. 💗🌸

Seriously, the aftermath of a typhoon talaga ang pinakamahirap na part eh no. Mas nakakaawa din yong mga farmers and those affected.
It is beautiful and humbling to read how you have navigated life just one week after Typhoon Uwan. Seeing how you and your family came together, made a fire pit when the stove was out and found joy in the simple things like stirring the flames or watching the sunset and do not forget the little Ryzen wearing an adult slipper. Kids are their love for the bigger shoes 🤭. And, the shadow hunter Aiden!
I want you to know, I feel you. Back at home, we recently had a devastating floods too. Although, the nature is different, but still, the climate change is hitting all around the globe.
Take good care of yourselves, sending strength, warmth and solidarity your way.
Peace 🕊
Aww, thank you so much for reading! And haha, yes. Ryzen, in his adult slippers, made me also laugh. Actually, I didn't notice it, not until I got back to our pictures. Haha. Thanks again for your kind words. It means a lot to me! ☺️
