Hello everyone of this community. How are you all today? Yesterday was Sunday, and we went at the town to buy some milk for our kids and stock for our food this week again.

We weren’t supposed to go, but as I check on their milk, it will not be enough until night, my kids were like drinking milk 3 times a day. Haha

So, we just went at the Convenience Store, my husband saw a vendor of rambutan at the side of the road. So, he bought some knowing that my kids really love these fruits and it was on sale. For only 1 kg it costs 50 pesos. My kids were so happy upon seeing the rambutans their father bought.

After buying the milk and some stock for our refrigerator, we decided to go home, but on our way there’s a vendor of chickens on the road side. So, my husband parked our tricycle for a while. The chickens’ costs 150 pesos each despite their kilograms. It was affordable so he bought some. Although we will not eat today maybe tomorrow.

I also requested my husband to buy some delicious snack, so he bought some authentic empanada from Ilocos. Their empanada was a little bit different from the empanada that we used to eat. Its fillings were grated papaya and longganisa with an egg. It was very flavorful and dipping it on a vinegar was so perfect.

My first born also requested some pizza, look how happy he was upon eating the pizza :).
That’s how we spend the afternoon yesterday. Just a quick joy ride and some delicious snack that we really enjoyed. Simple moments but priceless when you are together with your family.
That’s all my dear hiver friends of this community. Till’ next blog. Have a wonderful day.
Sincerely, @saijan19

Ohh Empanada is one of my favorite and that RAMBUTAN fruit too. Your eldest was so happy to eat his pizza.
Yes it was one of his favorite snack. 😄
The empanada 💖 Never tried that. We don't have that here. Usually the palaman is pansit, hehe. Ohh, we have ham and cheese and giniling din pala. ☺️
It was easy to prepare maybe I would share sometimes the ingredients 😁
I love how simple things like rambutans and empanada can bring so much joy. That empanada sounds so unique! Grated papaya with longganisa and egg definitely a must try.
It was an authentic empanada from Ilocos. Thank you for your visit at my blog😊
