Great question,
Both options are pretty good, Delegation is the way by using anyone can can make money even sleeping. Curation can make money for you if you are little bit technical means you have to find good content which can get good attention after your vote. Curation can be profitable in the comperison of delegation but there are some factory which effect it such as demand and supply of Hive delegation.
Anyone can made upto 20% APR through curation.
