Afaik the last official announcement was https://peakd.com/utopian-io/@utopian-io/utopian-is-joining-a-new-family-imminent-changes which was the end of the project and there has not been any news since. Around that time all websites and source code belonging to Utopian.io were removed.
Unfortunately all attempts of rebranding and restarting the project were unsuccessful.
I feel sad for the end of the project. I used to colaborate with them as a translator. Hive could have an initiative similar to that!
