I think it's a great idea to have a custom Hive Site ! You don't even have to re-invent the wheel: just get your inspiration from Wix.com, Wordpress or even Facebook pages !! The latter is f.e. very popular with small businesses here in France.
Integration with existing shop platforms like Shopify would really be an unique feature and might even convince new users to join Hive !
