We are living in the 21st century and the best part of this time is that we are getting highly advanced technology and innovation for various things and segments. This is very good because after a decade we are going to have the best of it. No industries are surrounded by technology including healthcare, banking, aviation, Real Estate, etc. Technology is expanding its read too many other industries and areas, where things can be much better than what we have today, and agriculture and farming are some of the sectors. Although technological innovations in the agriculture area have already started its reach is quite limited they need to grow further.

The use of technology is not easy sometimes and to make everyone understand it requires a certain level of knowledge and understanding. Agriculture is one of the segments where farmers are not so much educated and this is one of the hurdles that is making them adopt the new form of technology difficult. I am not saying that all the farmers are not educated enough but looking at many countries I can say that this education ratio is quite nice in the agriculture sector. Still, I can see that there are many companies that are trying their best to explain education as much as possible so that they can bring more farmers to join the initiatives that are backed by technology.

  • Now farmers have access to get advanced seeds. They can order it through various marketplaces which are available on smartphones. These days when the current situation is going on and going to market is not suggested and even not safe so getting these things done within a few taps on the application saves time and also gets an opportunity to get things delivered at home.

  • There are many platforms that are also offering various equipment loaded with technological innovations properties and get it delivered. They also provide necessary training and demo to make the farmers understand so that they can operate it. Such equipment is playing an important role to reduce human effort as well as saves time which is also resulting as a cost-effective solution and the time that they save is also helping them do something better.

  • now for the consultation purpose also they need not call the person instead they can get it done with video conferencing and it is not just convenient but also cost-effective since charges are quite low as compared to what they have to pay if the physical visit is required.

  • There are various informative videos and articles are available that can make them learn new ways to do for me and to make it easy this content is quite interactive and easy to understand.

These are some of the area technology has played a vital role to bring easiness and convenience so that families can make their agricultural work smarter and also save time and money. I believe the best of it is yet to come and this is just the beginning so we can expect a lot more in this sector in coming years. As of now, smart farming is in its early stage but I expect it to get a significant and revolutionary upgrade in 5 to 10 years.

Thank you so much

In fact technology has made farming so interesting and less stressful, not just that technology has make farming more productive , imagine cultivating on a full plot of land for just a day and harvesting fruits or crops worth more than what you planted, technology is not just only making farming smart it's also improving people's way of life and making life easy
