As much as I'm happy for him, the nobel prize is too dusty to post about it on sciencevienna. It's insinuating that only in those chosen disciplines progress or groundbreaking innovation can happen, which is degrading other disciplines through selectionism where the actual innovation is happening: at the intersections. Although there are no big prize for instance for climate science I find it far more pioneering.
