Problem Points of the Medical Decision Making

The problem points of the Medical Decision Making are evaluated by a scoring system:

  • 1 point for a self limited or minor problem.
  • 1 point for an established problem which is stable or improving.
  • 2 points for an established problem which is worsening.
  • 3 points for a new problem which does not need workup.
  • 4 points for a new problem which will have workup.
