Welcome to sharing my experience with my friends traveling through the beaches of Higuerote, Venezuela. Today I'll tell you a little about the charming little town known as Chirimena, located on the coast of the Miranda state, under the jurisdiction of the Brión municipality, Higuerote. The beauty of its beaches, its exceptional climate, its gastronomy, and its cultural expressions have turned it into a reference tourist spot for travelers.
Bienvenidos a compartir mi experiencia junto a mis amigos viajando por las playas de Higuerote, Venezuela. Hoy les hablaré un poco sobre el encantador pueblito conocido como Chirimena, situado en las costas del estado Miranda, bajo la jurisdicción del municipio Brión, Higuerote. La belleza de sus playas, su clima excepcional, su gastronomía y sus expresiones culturales lo han convertido en un punto turístico de referencia para los viajeros.

Despite being a tourist beach, Chirimena maintains its essence as a remote and sparsely frequented place by tourists. It is common to observe a small number of visitors on the beach, which further enhances its beauty. It is a tranquil tropical paradise where one can lay on the sand and immerse oneself in the sound of the waves and the song of the birds, forgetting about the outside world.
A pesar de ser una playa turística, Chirimena conserva su esencia como un lugar remoto y poco frecuentado por los turistas. Es común observar una escasa cantidad de visitantes en la playa, lo que realza aún más su belleza. Se trata de un tranquilo paraíso tropical donde uno puede tumbarse en la arena y sumergirse en el sonido de las olas y el canto de las aves, olvidándose del mundo exterior.
The strong and constant waves of the sea are one of the reasons why not many people visit this place. The sea has somewhat dangerous water areas, and most of the time it's cold. However, these conditions do not prevent fully enjoying the experience that Chirimena has to offer.
El oleaje fuerte y constante del mar es una de las razones por las cuales no mucha gente visita este lugar. El mar presenta zonas de agua algo peligrosas y la mayoría de las veces esta fría. Sin embargo, estas condiciones no impiden disfrutar plenamente de la experiencia que Chirimena tiene para ofrecer.
You may not find many people on the beach, but you'll never feel alone because wherever you look, there will be friends of another species. Large birds often appear hunting for fish, village dogs running along the shore, and kittens in the trees. The animals make you feel like you're in a wild world far from the city. It's the perfect beach.
Quizás no encuentres muchas personas en la playa, pero nunca te sentirás solo porque dondequiera que mires habrá amigos de otra especie. Frecuentemente aparecen aves grandes que van a cazar peces, perros del pueblo corriendo en la orilla y gatitos en los árboles. Los animales te hacen sentir en un mundo salvaje lejos de la ciudad. Es la playa perfecta.
In the midst of our adventure, a stray kitten appeared from under a tree and approached us kindly. It wanted to play and eat. It became the star of the beach and stayed with us all morning, eating alongside us. We nicknamed it "Chirimeno".
En plena aventura, apareció un gatito callejero debajo de un árbol y se acercó amablemente a nosotros. Quería jugar y comer. Se convirtió en el protagonista de la playa y estuvo con nosotros toda la mañana comiendo junto a nosotros. Lo apodamos "Chirimeno".
Our journey through Higuerote didn't stop at Chirimena. We stayed in a nearby village called Tacarigua, where there is a river behind the colonial houses. Tired of the salty water, we went there, where there were horses and children having fun in the freshness of the freshwater.
Nuestro viaje por Higuerote no se detuvo en Chirimena. Nos quedamos en un pueblito muy cercano llamado Tacarigua, donde hay un río detrás de las casas coloniales. Ya cansados del agua salada, fuimos allí, donde había caballos y niños divirtiéndose en la frescura del agua dulce.

The next day we headed to the "Barlovento" hotel to enjoy the pool facing the sea of the "Chocolate" beach. The sea breeze near the hotel is incredible; the palm trees rustle and sway constantly near the pools.
Al día siguiente nos dirigimos al hotel "Barlovento" para disfrutar de la piscina frente al mar de la playa "chocolate". La brisa del mar cerca del hotel es increíble; las palmeras suenan y se mueven constantemente cerca de las piscinas.
Without a doubt, it's a beautiful environment I would visit again. And you, would you go to Higuerote, Chirimena? It's a tropical paradise surrounded by friendly people and natural places that anyone can visit on a budget.
Sin duda, es un ambiente hermoso al que volvería a visitar. Y ustedes, ¿irían a Higuerote, Chirimena? Es un paraíso tropical rodeado de personas amables y lugares naturales que cualquiera puede visitar con bajo presupuesto.
