My brothers and sisters did that pilgrimage about 3 years ago and can't stop and still have not stopped trying to convince me to do it with them again...
Their favourite part was the daily end destination filled with food and wine.

You should definitely do it, it's such wonderful and life changing experience! I absolutely loved it!
Of course, Spanish cuisine is amazing and their wines too! A very large part of the Camino is done in the Rioja region, where the best spanish wines are made... so, yeah... wine and festivities all day! Hahaha
