Hello everyone, today I take you to discover the "Vincheto di Celarda" nature reserve in the province of Belluno.
I had been hearing about it for years and although this is not the best time to visit the reserve, I couldn't resist and set off to explore.

Era da anni che ne sentivo parlare e anche se questo non è il periodo migliore per visitare la riserva, non ho resistito e sono partito all'esplorazione.
To my astonishment, the parking lot was full, so I had to park a little further away and walk for a while. Surely in the summer months it will be difficult to find a parking space.

Con stupore il parcheggio era pieno, così ho dovuto parcheggiare un po' più distante e fare un tratto a piedi. Sicuramente nei mesi estivi sarà difficile trovare un posto auto.
In front of the entrance there is a bridge and near the watercourse I met a nice cat and his feathered friends.

Without waiting any longer, I went through the wooden gate and continued along a tree-lined avenue.

The reserve covers an area of 99 hectares and the name vincheto originates from the cultivation of wicker willows, or the flexible branches of the plant, which was done in the 19th century.

Despite the altitude of only 230 meters above sea level, there were some snow spots.

One of the most peculiar aspects of this reserve is the presence of deer, fallow deer, roe deer, foxes and more.

There are fenced areas dedicated to animals, in this way it is possible to see quite well, animals such as deer, which I personally believe I have never seen before.

Then I continued along the path that was totally snowy and sometimes icy.

At one point I arrived at the Piave river where there was a nice viewpoint on the river and the mountains.

Really a nice corner with reflections on the water and all characterized by cold shades tending to blue.

At some point, something in the water attracted my intention that at first I thought was a floating log but then I realized it was a nutria!

Then I decided to go back to the main path through large spaces covered by a thin blanket of snow with the sunlit mountains in the background.

The paths of the reserve are straight, always flanked by meadows and wetlands.

In some places there are very suggestive waterways that line the road as sinuous as snakes.

The path is so long that you don't see the end, it seems to go on indefinitely.

On the sides from time to time there are secondary paths that cut straight in the direction of the river that runs alongside the reserve for its entire length.
There are frozen ponds, wooden bridges, control towers, the space to explore is vast.

Ai lati di tanto in tanto ci sono percorsi secondari che tagliano dritti in direzione del fiume che affianca per tutt ala lunghezza la riserva.
Ci sono laghetti ghiacciati, ponti di legno, torri di controllo, lo spazio da esplorare è vastissimo.
I think a naturalist photographer would have a lot of fun in this reserve, here live free roe deer, foxes, hares, squirrels, dormice, moles etc.

Un fotografo naturalista credo che si divertirebbe tantissimo in questa riserva, qui vivono allo stato libero caprioli, volpi, lepri, scoiattoli, ghiri, talpe ecc
I would say it was a good experience, I'm glad I visited the reserve in winter.
The charm of the snow is unique!
