Hi everyone! Welcome to another post that I make with a looooot of love!
I'm so exited to show you my last day out. I went with my best friend to the Barcelona Handmade Festival and it was so cute because everything you look was colourful, handmade and for sure, made with lots of passion (and patience jeje).
This was my very first time in that festival, but for sure I'll come back next year with a bit more of planification as there was too many activities that got full almost as soon as we get there.

Estoy tan emocionada de mostrarte mi último dÃa fuera. Fui con mi mejor amiga al Festival Handmade de Barcelona y fue muy lindo porque todo lo que vi era colorido, hecho a mano y, por supuesto, hecho con mucha pasión (y paciencia, jeje).
Esta fue mi primera vez en ese festival, pero seguro que volveré el próximo año con un poco más de planificación, ya que hubo demasiadas actividades que se llenaron tan pronto como llegamos allÃ.
This is the entry of the festival. If you have ever visitied Barcelona, you plan to, or you're just interested on this BEATIFUL city.
This is located in Plaza España, right in the center of Barcelona and with many touristic places to visit. You can find a restored bull plaza used as a mall called las Arenas. The "Venecians towers" that you can see on the second picture used as a entry for the Barcelona International Exhibition build in 1926. Or even a museus with lovely gardens and a skyline of barcelona, *Montjuic Gardens".
Esta es la entrada del festival. Si alguna vez has visitado Barcelona, ​​planeas hacerlo, o simplemente estás interesado en esta HERMOSA ciudad.
El recinto se encuentra en Plaza España, en pleno centro de Barcelona y con muchos lugares turÃsticos para visitar. Puedes encontrar una plaza de toros restaurada utilizada como centro comercial llamada las Arenas. Las torres venecianas que puedes ver en la segunda imagen utilizada como entrada para la Exposición Internacional de Barcelona construida en 1926. O incluso un museo con hermosos jardines y vistas preciosas de toda Barcelona, ​​los Jardines de Montjuic.
Well, let's get back to the festival. As soon as I got inside I could see this amazing rack. It's so colourful but, Have you seen those patterns? Can't believe that they're handmade it makes me feel ashamed of my work haha. They let me speechless.
Bueno, volvamos al festival. Tan pronto como entré pude ver este increÃble estante. Es tan colorido pero, ¿has visto esos patrones? No puedo creer que estén hechos a mano, me da vergüenza mi trabajo jaja. Me dejaron sin habla.
The place was full of shops, activities for kids and grownups, food trucks, masterclasses... Well, anything you can imagine that could be handmade. From crochet, sewing and embroidery to yard and gardering.
The festival was 3 day long so if you go just to spend a day out, with your kids or on your best behave to learn about DIY you won't get bored any of the days.
El lugar estaba repleto de tiendas, actividades para niños y mayores, food trucks, masterclasses... Bueno, todo lo que puedas imaginar que se pueda hacer a mano. Desde ganchillo, costura y bordado hasta jardinerÃa y jardinerÃa.
El festival duró 3 dÃas, asà que si vas solo para pasar un dÃa fuera, con tus hijos o en tu mejor comportamiento para aprender sobre bricolaje, no te aburrirás ninguno de los dÃas.
There was also too many activities from long time and spending day there to express and easy DIY.
As I said, I'm planning to come next year and have all activities in mind, watching out that some where organised from the staff of the festival and some from the handmade shops that used the space to plan minicourses related to them. We planned to do the magic plastic one and a tie-dye but plastic one got full to fast so we decided to take the tie-dye and personalize a totebag.
Before we start tie dying our bag, they explain to us that tie dye comes from Tang Dinasty (618-907) and it's a way to reuse old clothes and bring some new from old to life.
I made the spiral way and she made the shibori thecnique. I think both of them look very cute and I really would like to try again and learn more about it.

También hubo actividades de pasar mucho tiempo alli o pasar el dÃa como actividades de 20 minutos a una hora que se les llamaban actividades "express".
Como dije, planeo venir el próximo año y tengo todas las actividades en mente, viendo que algunas fueron organizadas por el personal del festival y otras por las tiendas artesanales que usaron el espacio para planear minicursos relacionados con ellas. Planeamos hacer el plástico mágico y un tie-dye, pero el del plástico se llenó demasiado rápido, asà que decidimos tomar el tie-dye y personalizar un totebag.
Antes de empezar a teñir nuestra bolsa, nos explican que el tie dye proviene de la dinastÃa Tang (618-907) y es una forma de reutilizar ropa vieja y traer algo nuevo de viejo a la vida.
Yo hice la espiral y ella la técnica shibori. Creo que ambos se ven muy lindos y realmente me gustarÃa volver a intentarlo y aprender más al respecto.

I love this kind of festivals or fairs where everything that is exposed is handmade, it is much more appreciated than any article of any brand store.
