¡Hola mis queridos amigos de Hive! Espero esten muy bien el día de hoy. No saben la emoción que tengo de contarles que por primera vez fui al tradicional encendido navideño que se realiza en una de las avenidas más populares de la capital zuliana y es que cada año ese evento siempre ha sido uno de los más importantes porque toda la calle desde lo que conocemos como Bella Vista hasta la Avenida el Milagro que es donde se encuentra la plaza el Ángel y podemos deleitarnos con la imagen de la patrona del municipio llena de luces de navidad.
Ir por primera vez a este evento me llenó de mucha emoción porque si bien, antes cuando mi mamá y yo salíamos en el carro siempre pasábamos por la avenida llena de luces y era un espectáculo pero nunca nos deteníamos para ver las decoraciones si no que era nuestra ruta para llegar a casa por lo que asistir al encendido como tal y poder caminar detenidamente y observar todo con detenimiento fue algo que me encantó.
Hello my dear friends of Hive! I hope you are doing well today. You do not know how excited I am to tell you that for the first time I went to the traditional Christmas lighting that takes place in one of the most popular avenues of the capital of Zulia and is that every year this event has always been one of the most important because the whole street from what we know as Bella Vista to Avenida el Milagro which is where the Angel Square is located and we can delight with the image of the patron saint of the municipality full of Christmas lights.
Going for the first time to this event filled me with great excitement because although, before when my mom and I went out in the car we always passed by the avenue full of lights and it was a show but we never stopped to see the decorations but it was our route to get home so attending the lighting as such and being able to walk carefully and observe everything carefully was something that I loved.
Primero que todo, para llegar al lugar tuve que coordinar el transporte que nos llevaría puesto que como ya les he contado antes el transporte en el lugar donde vivo, específicamente en mi pueblito es complicado, ya luego de cierta hora no hay más transporte publico y como el encendido de luces era ya de tarde noche obviamente no nos podíamos ir en transporte normal. Afortunadamente muchas personas de la localidad sacaron viajes para disfrutar de este evento por lo que solo tuvimos que planificar el lugar donde nos pasarían recogiendo, la hora, el pago y ya estábamos listos para la aventura.
First of all, to get to the place I had to coordinate the transportation that would take us since as I have told you before the transportation in the place where I live, specifically in my little town is complicated, and after a certain time there is no more public transportation and as the lighting of lights was already late at night obviously we could not go in normal transport. Fortunately many local people took trips to enjoy this event so we only had to plan the place where we would be picked up, the time, the payment and we were ready for the adventure.
Luego de que el bus estuvo buscando por un buen rato donde estacionarse ya que la cantidad de gente y autos que estaba alrededor era abismal, logramos llegar y deleitarnos con las primeras luces con las que nos topamos.
Yo quedé enamorada con el edificio de Villa Carmen, una casona donde trabaja el Poder Ejecutivo Municipal y ademas de ello la alcaldía del municipio realiza muchos eventos como certámenes, charlas, entre otras cosas pero la decoración que le dieron, a pesar de ser minimalista, a hizo lucir hermosa. Me gustó mucho el detalle la verdad.
After the bus was looking for a long time where to park because the amount of people and cars that were around was abysmal, we managed to arrive and delight us with the first lights we came across.
I fell in love with the building of Villa Carmen, a large house where the Municipal Executive Branch works and besides that the mayor's office of the municipality holds many events such as contests, lectures, among other things but the decoration they gave it, despite being minimalist, made it look beautiful. I really liked the detail.
Creo que esta fue una de mis decoraciones favoritas y tal vez si le hubiera preguntado a varios que por allí pasaban estoy casi segura de que hubieran estado de acuerdo conmigo. La decoración estaba armada de tal manera que parecía un techo de estrellas, La sensación de estar allí era muy fantasiosa. De verdad que me encantó estar allí, cada que pasaba me sentía en otro mundo llenó de luces navideñas jajaja
I think this was one of my favorite decorations and perhaps if I had asked several people passing by I am almost sure they would have agreed with me. The decoration was set up in such a way that it looked like a ceiling of stars, the feeling of being there was very fanciful. I really loved being there, every time I passed by I felt like I was in another world full of Christmas lights hahaha.
Otra de las cosas que llamó mi atención y no me lo esperaba es que a medida que íbamos caminando, aparte de las tarimas principales que estarían en el evento que fueron anunciadas por las redes, habían otros mini escenarios también con cantantes emergentes. En uno nos conseguimos con la mascota de las Águilas del Zulia, el equipo de béisbol representante del estado y uno de los más famosos.

Nuestra meta de la noche era recorrer toda la avenida hasta llegar a la otra punta donde se encontraba la plaza El Ángel pero fallamos en el intento, puesto que una nube se aproximaba hacia nosotros y aún nos quedaban como quince cuadras de recorrido por lo que nos regresamos huyendo de la posible lluvia. Afortunadamente no pasó nada y seguimos disfrutando de la noche. Pero les digo que menos mal no terminamos de llegar a aquella plaza porque allí si llovió, y con ganas.
Our goal for the night was to walk all along the avenue until we reached the other end where the Plaza El Angel was located, but we failed in the attempt, since a cloud was approaching us and we still had about fifteen blocks to go, so we turned back fleeing from the possible rain. Fortunately nothing happened and we continued enjoying the night. But I tell you that it was a good thing we did not end up in that square because it rained there, and it rained hard.
Entre luces, decoraciones y grandes amigos disfrutamos de una magnifica noche pre navideña. Al principio me abrumó un poco la cantidad de gente que allí se encontraba, casi no podíamos pasar y muchas personas se nos atravesaban pero aún así disfruté mucho de todo pero aquí no se acaba puesto que pronto viene el encendido de mi pueblito y obviamente eso se los quiero enseñar también ¡No se lo pierdan!
Among lights, decorations and great friends we enjoyed a magnificent pre-Christmas night. At first I was a little overwhelmed by the amount of people that were there, we could almost not pass and many people were crossing us but I still enjoyed everything but it does not end here because soon comes the lighting of my little town and obviously I want to show you that too, don't miss it!
