For today's post I chose the place Cobh.. Amazing small town with lots of colorful houses..
Me and husband had little time to check out everything there but We snapped few pics so I can share it with you.. So here goes the story..
Best known for being the last port of call to the Titanic, Cobh is loved by history enthusiasts and those who have an interest in the world-famous ship. However, while the Titanic history may be a huge draw, it’s not the only reason to visit Cobh. Cobh has plenty to offer and is one of the most picturesque towns in Ireland.

St. Colman’s Cathedral, also known as Cobh Cathedral, stands majestically on the hill overlooking Cobh and Cork Harbour. The construction of this Roman Catholic Church began in 1867 but wasn’t completed and consecrated until 1915. The tower has a carillon of 49 bells making it one of the largest in Europe

The waterfront harbour in front of Cork city is where you can get some of the best views of this small Irish town. The brightly colourful houses and buildings wind their way up the hills. At the top, the impressive St. Colman’s Cathedral towers above them all. It’s a great spot for photos or just to relax and enjoy the views on a sunny day. If you are feeling up for an adventure, you can also hire a boat from Cork Harbour Boat Hire and tour around the waterfront to get even better views.
The “Queenstown Story” is the story Irish Emigration.
Folow the story form the 1600’s when transportation to the British overseas colonies was commonplace, from Virginia and New England to Barbados, Jamacia and Monserrat.
This beautiful, informative and sometimes emotive Exhibition is situated within Cobh’s beautifully restored Victorian railway station, a building with its own historic story.

Town is full of happiness and lots of beautiful smiles.. As gloomy and cloudy as the day is, the Irish are always smiling and ready to help. There's no problem they can't solve.
Amazing gazebo near the coast with lovely playground for kids..
Troubled sea and a few whiffs of wind.
The beautiful color of the sea, the day was beautiful for half an hour of sightseeing because we were limited with the weather.
See the buildings, streets and piers where Titanic passengers embarked and learn all about Spike Island and convict transportation. This trail enjoys spectacular views of one of the world’s largest natural harbours and takes about an hour to complete
There was a big cruise ship moving in front of us. What a big beast on the Irish Sea. A small port for such a large cruise ship, but it turned around without problems.

It was a short visit and long time ago. I remember narrow roads high above the bay. The view was amazing!

Awesome colors and views... seems a worth visiting destination for sure. I love it when cities aren’t defined by far-flung destination separate by boring city life, but rather when each building is special and interesting with different great styles. They looks so cheerful and happy. I hope to visit there one day in my life.
