This months first travel was spent with family and believe me after a long time such a beautiful plan was made. Its been too long that we planned for long journey travel and towards Dam area. I told my wife that today we will eat lunch at some peaceful and natural place, after hearing this she and my mother both happily agreed and we got busy making our program.
My work is online and my father is a retired teacher employee. My children are small who still do not go to school. Thats why we chose Tuesday because we all are free and can go for travel. There is less crowd in picnic points in the week days because people are busy in their jobns and business. Mostly Friday and Sunday are more crowded in picnic points.
A Beautiful Start to the Season with Family
Its my effort to take my family towards natural areas or long journey travel once in a month. It is our duty towards our family members as much as possible time should be taken out for them. We should take towards natural settings so they can enjoy as well.
Men, no matter how busy they are often go for trips with their friends. sometimes they go for hiking on mountains, sometimes for camping, and sometimes outside the city for a trip but for women it is not much possible because they handle housework and remain busy in childrens daily care and home activities.
Thats why we should take time for them and make them see different natural scenes in the city. I had a plan for them that I take them outing once in a month and outside city or country once in a year. This time we thought that we will eat our lunch in the natural setting of the Dam.
There we will enjoy nature for some time, talk, eat, enjoy the nature and then move from there towards Paye Koh and drink our tea there and from there we will go towards Mountain View and Technologies Park which are other beautiful picnic points and natural settings.
Todays program was quite long and we thought that when we leave at 1 o’clock in the afternoon we will return home at night. There is more fun in long traveling and we will enjoy properly.
Family members got busy in preparing for the program, arrangement of food, arrangement of fruits, arrangement of tea, and packing of other things. Preparing the children making them wear new cloths and in the meantime I thought that until all this work is done I will check the car so that the tires and other things are fit and do not cause trouble during travel.
Around 1:30 in the afternoon everyone was ready and sat in the car. We left home towards our destination. This trip was around one hour of travel because wherever there were natural settings on the way we stopped there and kept taking pictures. Wherever I found a good scene I stopped the car, got out and start my photography.
On the way there were many stalls of different foods like Gol Gappay which is considered the famous snack of my city. Pirki, which is a food of Hazargi culture, rice and chickpeas, juices, and different stalls. We had already arranged all things from home that’s why we did not need to buy anything from outside.
In the car we were 5 adults and 3 of my small daughters. We started our journey in Suzuki Every car. The good thing about this car is that its capacity is large meaning it is best for 8 people. 8 people can easily sit in it and enjoy the travel comfortably.
This way is more naturalistic and there are lovely scenes on the way. On each beauty I spot, I stopped the car and kept on taking pictures. I took some pictures with my father inside the car, some of the family, and also outside scenery. I thought that in this travel I will take you people along too.
After traveling for about half an hour we reached Musa Park which is considered a very beautiful park. I was surprised when I saw that no one was present in this park and even the canteen beside it was empty. I wanted to order tea from there and fill it in the thermos to take along but there was no one present there to get my order. Anyway, we left towards the destination.
The main reason the park was empty because winter have come and people mostly prefer to stay at home. During the summer times, there is no place to walk because of the crowd. We passed near this park, took some pictures and continued our journey.
Meherdaar Sairgah (Mehrd Picnic Place)
Travelling ahead, we entered the area of the Dam. You can see a wooden board on which “Mehrd Sairgaah” is written in Urdu which means “Mehrd Picnic Place.” It was presenting a beautiful view on which I thought to take some memorable pictures with my father.
If I talk about photography my father takes better pictures than me. He takes such pictures that I get amazed. Actually, my father has been fond of photography since childhood and for a long time he did photography in schools.
After almost one hour we reached our destination. The area of the Dam was very green and fresh, trees everywhere, the real beauty of this place is its mountains which are very close to this area. Besides that, there is also a small stream of water where the water is always flowing as shown in the picture.
After reaching we decided to eat first. While the food was being prepared, I thought to take some nice pictures. You can see the beautiful view of nature, everywhere natures glimpse which gave peace to my soul and really relaxed me.
Aash || The Taste of My Culture
It was time to eat, the mat was spread and all family members sat to eat.
In food, my favorite dish was made which I eat with love. “Aash” which is a Hazargi and our cultural food. It is like spaghetti but the method of making it is completely different.
Aash is made from flour dough which is dried in heat and when it becomes properly dry it is cut into long shapes using a machine. Then Aash is boiled in water to make it soft and in it cooked lentil, beans, qurut (dried yogurt), curd and tomato are added.
With this dish, minced meat is also necessary. The mince is made of chicken or beef, cooked well, and fried in ghee. We pour the mince over Aash mix it properly, and then eat it. It has a very good taste.
Mountain View And Technology Park
After eating, we did some chatting and then in the evening left that place and thought to go towards Mountain View and Technology Park to drink tea. This journey was around half an hour more. On the way I saw shephered and the flock of goats and sheep. They were looking very good and I kept on making pictures.
We saw the view of Mountain View, spent good time there. Before night, we left back towards home.This journey remained a memorable one and will be remembered for life. Whenever I will read this content or see the pictures surely I will feel emotional and my tears may come out.
