Hello Hive community!
My name is Ayiri, and I am very excited to share my very first post here.

I’m 26 years old and I live in Rimini, a beautiful coastal city in Northern Italy. If you’ve never heard of Rimini, don’t worry, most people only know Rome, Florence, Milan, Venice, or “wherever the best pizza is.” But Rimini has its own magic: the beach, the sea breeze, summer nights, and a calm lifestyle that makes you feel at peace. Even though is winter right now, and snowing days are about to come, the city still keeps it's charm.

I discovered solo traveling when I was 19. Since then, I’ve taken trains, planes (and sometimes the wrong ones 😅), just to explore new cities by myself. Traveling alone has taught me patience, confidence, and how to enjoy my own company… plus it gives me unlimited food choices with zero judgment; my teacher in China always says: "you can't be judge if you are a foreigner".
Here on Hive, I want to share my solo-travel adventures, photos of the places I visit, the interesting foods I try and the little moments that make each trip special.
I’ve never really been the kind of person who stays in one place for too long. I’ve lived in Dublin, Ireland, where I learned how to survive rain, wind, and locals who say “What’s the craic?” like it’s the most normal sentence in the world. Then there was Barcelona, Spain, a city that taught me how to have dinner at 10pm and pretend I speak Spanish fluently after three sangrías. After that, I moved to Doha, Qatar, where summer means the sun literally tries to delete you, but the hospitality and culture make you forget you’re melting. And, lastly, I lived in Shanghai, China, where I spent two years studying for my master’s degree and eating more dumplings than my professors would ever believe.
Every city left a mark on me, some taught me patience, some taught me adventure, and some just taught me that I should never trust Google Maps at 2 AM (especially in China).
This blog is not about being perfect or pretending I know everything. I’m just a guy who loves discovering new places, meeting new people, and enjoying life one destination at a time.
Thank you for reading my introduction.
I can’t wait to share my travels with you all.

Hi @ayiriaotu welcome to Hive. I'm @palomap3 from Lovesniper OCD team.
Travelling alone to such diverse countries is definitely for adventurers. You will have many stories to tell, and I hope to hear them soon. Especially those from Spain, my country. Now I have to imagine you with a sangria in the hand, hehe.
I'm curious, could you tell us how you found out about Hive? If a friend recommended it to you, it would be good to mention his/her username so he/she knows you posted. Here is some useful information that I invite you to explore.
