I've read your other post in the meantime and that is a beautiful picture of the place you have made 😉 I'm lucky to be living in Annecy for years, being also born in the region nearby Chamonix, and annecy, the lake and my mountains are for me the closest place to heaven 😁

I agree that the mountains and the water make it an earthly paradise.
We haven't been to Chamonix yet but I imagine that it is amazing as well. Hopefully we get to see that area one day also.
