Hello friends of Hive! Here I am back, finally school is over and I will be able to dedicate more to the realization of posts in my blog!
We broke up about a month ago talking about the Expo in Milan, but today I want to tell you about a world record initiative.

Ci siamo lasciati circa un mese fa parlando dell’Expo di Milano, oggi invece voglio raccontarvi di una iniziativa da record mondiale.
As I told you in a previous article, Brescia , city where I live, and Bergamo have been chosen as capitals of culture 2023, Therefore, during this year will be the protagonists of a series of very interesting cultural events that will allow the two cities to make their beauty known to all of Italy, and not only. One of these is the project born from
"VIVA VITTORIA " a volunteer association that wants to raise awareness of violence against women and gender equality.
Come già vi ho detto in un articolo precedente, Brescia , città in cui vivo, e Bergamo sono state scelte come capitali della cultura 2023, perciò durante il corso di quest’anno saranno protagoniste di una serie di eventi culturali molto interessanti che permetteranno alle due città di far conoscere le proprie bellezze a tutta Italia, e non solo. Una tra queste è il progetto nato da
“ VIVA VITTORIA “ un’associazione di volontariato che vuole sensibilizzare il tema della violenze sulle donne e dell’uguaglianza di genere.
VIVA VITTORIA : 50 MILES
For the Year of Culture, Bergamo and Brescia have decided to join physically, in a real human chain. This union symbolizes both the fact that they are united in this beautiful project, and the union and strength that they used together in the fight against the COVID that first in Italy and more heavily, hit the two cities and their countries.
The project was very ambitious, planned to unite Bergamo and Brescia with 40000 people for 50 Roman miles ( about 80 km ), between one person and the other was used a strip made of mesh of 1.5 meters, safe distance during the pandemic, becomes an instrument of union for this magnificent event. VIVA VITTORIA : 50 MIGLIA
Per l’anno della cultura, Bergamo e Brescia, hanno pensato di unirsi fisicamente, in una vera e propria catena umana. Questa unione simboleggia sia il fatto che siano unite in questo bel progetto, sia l’unione e la forza che hanno usato insieme nella lotta contro il COVID che per primo in Italia e in maniera più pesante, ha colpito le due città e i loro paesi.
Il progetto è stato molto ambizioso, prevedeva di unire Bergamo e Brescia con 40000 persone per 50 miglia romane ( circa 80 km ), tra una persona e l’altra veniva utilizzata una striscia realizzata in maglia di 1,5 mt, distanza di sicurezza durante la pandemia, diventa strumento di unione per questo magnifico evento. Nell’immagine, presa dal sito di Viva Vittoria, potete vedere tutti i paesi coinvolti in questa iniziativa, paesi nei quali sarebbe passata questa catena umana.

Before I tell you which country I went to to see this unique show in the world, I want to tell you about the making of these knitted strips. As you know I am a teacher, and for this project has been asked to schools on the territory and associations, to be able to help in the realization and decoration of knitted strips.
With my class, during the month of April, we went to a local association and decorated six strips, which were then handed over to the association Viva Vittoria, ready to be used for the project 50 Miglia.
Prima di raccontarvi in quale paese mi sono diretta per vedere questo spettacolo unico al mondo, voglio raccontarvi della realizzazione di queste strisce in maglia. Come sapete io faccio l’insegnante, e per questo progetto è stato chiesto alle scuole sul territorio e alle associazioni, di poter dare una mano nella realizzazione e decorazione delle strisce in maglia.
Con la mia classe, durante il mese di Aprile, ci siamo recati presso un’associazione locale e abbiamo decorato ben sei strisce, che poi sono state consegnate all’associazione Viva Vittoria, pronte per essere utilizzate per il progetto 50 Miglia.

Once we arrived, we saw the participants in the chain already positioned along the track, ready to join once the signal was given.
Unfortunately the day was not beautiful, but I can assure you that the emotion of being present at such an exceptional event was very high.
At 11:00 o'clock, simultaneously in all the cities involved, the people united permanently, interspersed with the stripes of a meter and a half, thus giving rise to the 80 km long human chain. This sense of union and participation was very nice to see.
Ma veniamo a noi, l’evento è stato realizzato Domenica 4 Giugno. Io e i miei fratelli ci siamo diretti al punto di incontro delle due città , il ponte di Sarnico-Paratico, che è esattamente a metà strada tra Bergamo e Brescia e che divide le due città , da una sponda all’altra del lago di Iseo.
Una volta arrivati, abbiamo visto i partecipanti alla catena giĂ posizionati lungo il tracciato, pronti per unirsi una volta dato il segnale.
Purtroppo la giornata non era bellissima, ma vi posso assicurare che l’emozione di essere presenti ad un evento così eccezionale era altissima.
Alle ore 11:00 in punto, contemporaneamente in tutte le città coinvolte, le persone si unirono definitivamente, intervallate dalle strisce di un metro e mezzo, dando così origine alla catena umana lunga ben 80 km. Questo senso di unione e di partecipazione è stato molto bello da vedere.
