Happy day traveling friends, it is a pleasure to greet you and share a new adventure in the eastern region of the country, in the state of Sucre, this is the second part of the celebration of the 509 years of the city of Cumaná, which is a very important for the city, known among other nicknames as the firstborn of the American continent, being the first city founded on dry land by the conquerors, in the first installment I talked about the recreation of everyday life in the lives of the aborigines, also the representation of the black plague that devastated a large part of the population, on this occasion I continue my journey through this magical journey in time visiting the different facades, structures and paintings arranged between Sucre Street and Plaza Ribero, for the enjoyment of tourists and residents, in these spaces you can find beautiful model designs that recreate the life of the colonial era, a time marked by struggles, confrontations and a very classist society where wealth and possessions were essential to be considered members of the nobility, this era also stands out for its luxurious and pompous attire, the facades of the houses with ornaments and shields that identified each family, windows with beautiful decorations, these regularly had a cornice in the upper part with large and striking large ornaments, the doors were very tall and generally made of very thick wood, with a very particular bell that consisted of a beautifully decorated iron ring or box, located in the center of the door, with which you knocked on the door, in this At that time there was no electricity and this was the bell they devised to receive visitors.
Feliz día amigos viajeros, es un placer saludarlos y compartir una nueva aventura en la región oriental del país, en el estado Sucre, se trata de la segunda parte de la celebración de los 509 años de la ciudad de Cumaná, que es una celebración muy importante para la ciudad, conocida entre otros apodos como la primogénita del continente americano, al ser la primera ciudad fundada en tierra firme por los conquistadores, en la primera entrega hablé sobre la recreación de la cotidianidad en la vida de los aborígenes, también la representación de la peste negra que azotó a gran parte de la población, en esta ocasión continuo mi recorrido por este mágico viaje en el tiempo visitando las diferentes fachadas, estructuras y pinturas dispuestas entre la calle Sucre y plaza Ribero, para el disfrute de turistas y residentes, en estos espacios consigues hermosos diseños de maquetas que recrean la vida de la época colonial, una época marcada por luchas, enfrentamientos y una sociedad muy clasista donde las riquezas y posesiones eran fundamentales para ser considerados miembros de la nobleza, esta época destaca también por lujosos y pomposos atuendos, las fachadas de las casas con adornos y escudos que identificaban a cada familia, ventanas con hermosas decoraciones, estas regularmente tenían en la parte superior superior una cornisa con grandes grandes y llamativos adornos, las puertas eran muy altas y generalmente de madera muy gruesa, con un timbre muy particular que consistía en un aro o un cuadro de hierro hermosamente decorado, ubicado en el centro de la puerta, con el cual llamabas a la puerta, en este tiempo no había energía eléctrica y este fue el timbre que se ingeniaron para recibir las visitas.

Varias instituciones y empresas del estado también se hicieron presente en esta celebración como; los bomberos, la guardia nacional, la guardia costera, emisoras fundaciones y varias empresas presentaron increíbles exhibiciones que mostraban la Cumaná antigua, una de las más pintorescas es el famoso tamarindo un árbol que estaba ubicado en la entrada del puente de la avenida Bermúdez y que era un punto de referencia para la ciudad, constituía una de las paradas para ir a la ciudad de Cumanacoa, era muy conocido también un carismático personaje que regularmente vendía periódicos en la mencionada parada, esta representación demuestra que los personajes y lugares emblemáticos de los pueblos siempre serán recordados y forman parte importante de la historia.

Recorrer la calle y ver estas hermosas exhibiciones fue sin duda una gran experiencia, que me encantó y disfruté al máximo, ya muy cerca de la iglesia Santa Inés se ubicaron las exhibiciones de artesanía y manualidades elaboradas con conchas de mar, el precio es bastante accesible, y es un lindo souvenir como recuerdo de tu visita al cumpleaños de Cumaná, la casa de la historia realizó una hermosa fachada donde se evidencian las construcciones de la época, los materiales y una galería donde puedes conocer los lugares emblemáticos de la ciudad, algunos de ellos se mantienen activos y otros fueron sustituidos, remodelados y ocupados por diversas instituciones.
Visitar esta exhibición es darse un paseo por más de tres siglos de historia, también pude observar los jóvenes patriotas dando discursos en los diferentes balcones del pueblo, con la idea de atraer a la mayor cantidad de población a sumarse a la causa independentista, sin duda alguna fue una gran experiencia visitar y conocer las noches de antaño y el aporte histórico que esta le brinda a los turistas y visitantes, espero el próximo año poder asistir nuevamente a esta hermosa celebración que conmemora la fundación de la ciudad con un espectacular desfile de fachadas y estaciones que recrean la vida de nuestros antepasados.

Una ciudad insigne y muy bien celebrada con todas estas recreaciones alegóricas. Se han organizado maravillosamente, tantos detalles y actividades de antaño permiten entender cómo vivían antes los habitantes de la ciudad.
La historia entre fachadas y negocios muy interesantes, el mismo pueblo con sus coloridas casas representa lo que siempre ha sido. Sin embargo no puedo dejar pasar el establecimiento del Burdel, como dice mucho cada cosa de la sociedad y los tiempos que pasan jajaja.
Imagínate 3 siglos representados para celebrar el aniversario de la ciudad, es enriquecedor ver como los jóvenes se unen a estas representaciones, es muy importante que se sientan identificados con sus raíces y disfruten de su herencia.

Hola amiga un gusto saludarte, el cumpleaños de la ciudad es una hermosa celebración con sus conocidas "Noches de Antaño" llamativas y coloridas fachadas visten la calle Sucre, donde se encuentran ubicadas varias casas de diseño colonial, bellamente adornadas para la ocasión, es el escenario perfecto para revivir esa época.
Ja, ja el Burdel tiene sus cuentos, fue uno de los lugares con más visitas, había una fila para entrar.
Es la primera vez que voy a esta celebración y me encantó, literalmente es un viaje en el tiempo; los jóvenes participan activamente en las representaciones, los vestuarios de la época si que eran hermosos y muy pesados ja, ja.
