We're very close to the first half of November, and personally, I find it incredible that there are only a few days left until December, my favorite month for its colorful decorations, celebrations, and festivities commemorating the birth of Jesus. It's also a special time when families gather to share delicious dishes and desserts, and tell anecdotes and funny stories. When it comes to celebrations, there are different places that allow us to not only celebrate but also relax and unwind. In October, one of my friends had a birthday, and to celebrate, we visited the beach in the San Luis area. I've mentioned in previous posts that this area has several beaches and is also notable for being the largest urban beach in the country, which also has facilities for lodging and relaxation for visitors.
On her birthday, my friend received a lovely gift that she shared with her group of friends and family. The initial plan was to celebrate her birthday at San Luis beach in the Los Bordones area. We got organized, and very early in the morning, we were already at the beach. The children were running, playing, and enjoying the view when we arrived. In this area, there are several huts, cabins, and umbrellas that you can rent to make your stay comfortable and pleasant, allowing you to relax while observing the beauty of the sea. The beach is definitely an excellent place for a birthday celebration; it's an open space for children and adults to enjoy the wonders of nature. For my friend's birthday, two cakes were made, which turned out beautifully, by the way. One of them suffered a small mishap on the way to the beach and lost some of its decoration, but despite this minor detail, the cake looked great and, most importantly, it was delicious.
Hola amigos viajeros, es un placer saludarles deseando que tengan un excelente y bendecido día, estamos muy cerca de la primera quincena del mes de noviembre y en lo personal me parece increíble que quedan pocos días para la llegada del mes de diciembre, mi mes favorito por sus coloridas decoraciones, celebraciones y festividades que conmemoran el nacimiento de Jesús, además es una época especial donde se reúne la familia para compartir en la deliciosos platillos, postres contar anécdotas e historias graciosas en familia; cuando de celebraciones se trata hay diferentes lugares que nos permiten además de celebrar recrearnos y relajarnos, el mes de octubre una de mis amigas estuvo de cumpleaños y para celebrarlo visitamos la playa en el sector San Luis, he comentado en publicaciones anteriores que en este sector se ubican varias playas y también destaca por ser la playa urbana más grande del país, que cuenta además con instalaciones para el hospedaje y descanso de los visitantes.
En su cumpleaños, mi amiga recibió un lindo obsequio que compartió con su grupo de amigos y familiares, el plan inicial fue celebrar el cumpleaños en la playa San Luis sector los bordones, nos organizamos y desde muy temprano en la mañana, ya estábamos en la playa los niños al llegar ya estaban corriendo, jugando y disfrutando la vista del lugar, en esta zona se ubican varias chozas, cabañas y también sombrillas que puedes alquilar para hacer de tu estancia un momento cómodo, agradable y relajarte mientras observas la belleza del mar; definitivamente la playa es un excelente lugar para una celebración de cumpleaños, es un espacio abierto para que los niños y adultos disfruten las bondades de la naturaleza, para el cumpleaños de mi amiga se hicieron dos tortas, que quedaron muy hermosas por cierto, una de ellas en el trayecto hacia la playa sufrió un pequeño accidente y perdió parte de su decoración pero sin a pesar de este pequeño detalle la torta se veía muy bien y lo más importante que estaba deliciosa.
During the morning we were at the beach and the children had a great time; they ate, played, and swam. Around midday, when we were about to sing "Happy Birthday" to Carmen, a group of friends and coworkers arrived and gave her a wonderful surprise gift: a pass to enjoy the hotel's beautiful pools. She was so excited and amazed that she couldn't believe she could finally visit them. We sang "Happy Birthday," ate cake, and then packed our bags to go into the pools. It was her first time visiting them, and they are beautiful, surrounded by lovely natural surroundings. There are palm trees and many other trees that enhance the beauty of the area. The children were the first to organize their toys to head to the pools. The back of the hotel meets the beach and also has a tennis court where a large group of people gather to play in the evenings. The court has nets and LED lights that illuminate the entire area for comfortable play. After collecting our bags and organizing our belongings, we went into the pool area.
The children's faces beamed with excitement; they couldn't believe that in addition to the beach, they could also swim in the pool. The pools are distributed across several areas, and walkways lead to each one. The children's pool is located very close to the gate that leads to the sports field and the beach. It's shallow, and children can swim safely, always under adult supervision, and play in the playground surrounding the pool. The playground has swings, slides, chairs, mazes, and other attractions to ensure the little ones have a pleasant and fun day. Along the walkways, there are various ornamental plants, tables, chairs, huts, and cabanas where you can sit, relax, and enjoy the beautiful view. The pools are truly beautiful; the palm trees create a spectacular tropical and beachy atmosphere that perfectly suits the location. It gives the impression that the pools are an extension of the beach, After swimming in the pool for about three hours, we decided to go back to the beach, as the children wanted to play, run around and build sandcastles. A small group stayed in the pool while the other group went back to the beach to continue having fun. In the afternoon, at about 5:30, we packed our backpacks again to go home.
Durante la mañana estuvimos en la playa y los niños la pasaron muy bien; comieron, jugaron y se bañaron, ya a la hora del mediodía cuando nos disponíamos a cantarle el cumpleaños a Carmen, llegó un grupo de amigos y compañeros de trabajo y le dieron un gran regalo sorpresa, este era un gran pase para disfrutar las hermosas piscinas del hotel, ella muy emocionada y asombrada no podía creer que finalmente podía visitar estas piscinas, le cantamos cumpleaños comimos torta y luego organizamos los bolsos para ingresar a las piscinas, es la primera vez que las visito y son hermosas, rodeadas con un lindo entorno natural, hay palmeras y muchos árboles que embellecen estos espacios, los niños fueron los primeros en organizar sus juguetes para dirigirse a las piscinas, la parte posterior del hotel converge con la playa y además cuenta con una cancha de tenis donde un nutrido grupo de personas se reúne para jugar en horas nocturnas, la cancha cuenta con sus mallas y lámparas LED que alumbran toda la zona para jugar cómodamente, luego de recoger los morrales y organizar los utensilios ingresamos al área de las piscinas.
La cara de emoción de los niños era todo un poema, no podían creer que además de la playa podían bañarse en la piscina, las piscinas están distribuidas en varios sectores y hay caminerías que conducen a cada una de ellas, la piscina para los niños está ubicada muy cerca de la puerta que conduce hacia la cancha y la playa, tiene poca profundidad y los niños se pueden bañar tranquilamente siempre bajo la supervisión de los adultos y jugar en el parque ubicado alrededor de la piscina, el cual tiene columpios, toboganes sillas, laberintos y demás diversiones para que los pequeños pasen un día agradable y divertido, a lo largo de las caminerías hay varias plantas ornamentales, mesas, sillas chozas y cabañas dónde te puedes sentar descansar y disfrutar la hermosa vista del lugar, las piscina son realmente hermosas, con la decoración de palmeras se ve espectacular y crean un estilo tropical y playero acorde a la ubicación, da la impresión que las piscinas son una extensión de la playa, luego de bañarnos en la piscina durante aproximadamente tres horas, decidimos volver nuevamente a la playa, pues los niños querían jugar, correr y hacer sus castillos, un pequeño grupo se quedó en la piscina mientras el otro volvió a la playa para continuar con la diversión, ya en horas de la tarde aproximadamente a las 5:30 recogimos los morrales nuevamente para volver a casa.
As with almost all our visits to the beach, the children didn't want to leave the water. These kids have a lot of energy, and although they had been there since morning, they didn't feel tired. They wanted to continue until nightfall to enjoy the water temperature, which is usually cold at this time of day. While we were packing up our bags, they continued playing and making plans for a night swim. Due to work and responsibilities the next day, we couldn't stay any later. I would have loved to stay later to see the sunset, but I had several commitments to fulfill the following day.
Back home, I organized my clothes and got a head start on some pending tasks. This beach day was truly fun and very different from the others, as we combined the beach with the pool. 👙 Although both are excellent places to relax and take a good swim, I personally prefer the beach, enjoying the breeze, the view, and feeling the sand on my feet, which is very relaxing. The children also preferred to go back to the beach to play and build. My friend's birthday was lovely; we had a spectacular time, and she enjoyed her gift 🎁 of swimming in these beautiful pools and also in the warm waters of the beach. Although it was a long day, the tiredness was well worth it because we had a great day enjoying the beauty of the sea and the natural surroundings. The children were able to relax and fully enjoy the beach visit. If it were up to them, they would stay until nightfall. Their energy and stamina are admirable and seemingly inexhaustible.
Como casi todas las visitas que hemos hecho a la playa los niños no querían salir del agua, estos chicos tienen mucha energía y aunque estaban allí desde la mañana no se sentían cansados querían continuar hasta el anochecer para disfrutar de la temperatura del agua que a esta hora suele ser fría, mientras recogíamos los bolsos ellos seguían jugando y haciendo planes para un baño nocturno, por motivos de trabajo y responsabilidades al día siguiente, no pudimos quedarnos hasta más tarde, a mí me hubiese encantado quedarme hasta más tarde para ver el atardecer pero tenía varios compromisos por cumplir al día siguiente.
Ya en casa organicé la ropa y adelanté algunas tareas pendientes, este día de playa fue realmente divertido y muy diferente a los otros, pues combinamos la playa con la piscina, 👙 aunque ambos son excelentes espacios para relajarse y darse un buen baño, en lo personal prefiero la playa, disfrutar la brisa, la vista y sentir la arena en los pies que es muy relajante, los niños también prefirieron volver a la playa para jugar y construir, el cumpleaños de mi amiga fue muy lindo, la pasamos espectacular y ella disfrutó su regalo 🎁 de bañarse en estas hermosas piscinas, y también en las cálidas aguas de la playa, aunque fue un día largo el cansancio bien valió la pena, porque pasamos un día genial disfrutando la belleza del mar y el entorno natural, los niños pudieron relajarse y disfrutar al máximo la visita a la playa, si de ellos dependiera se quedan hasta la noche, la energía y resistencia de ellos es admirable y al parecer inagotable.
