I have seen quite a few Adina's in the Australian scene now... it is a pretty alright place if you are looking at serviced apartments as an alternative to airBNB and hotels. I like the serviced apartment thing, the option of a little kitchenette means that you can save a bit of money on cooking in stead of eating out... and you have the chance to cook yourself something that isn't quite as salty/oily/rich as the restaurant meals and takeaways that you would otherwise be living on when you are travelling.
Now, most of the time, the ensembles will book a place in the city... which makes for just a short little walk to work in the concert halls. However, for some reason, this time there was a single night's booking out near the airport... probably because there was problems with accommodation availability in the city proper due to some woman called Taylor Swift doing her concerts...
... so, a bit further out, and a place that looked more like a roadside motel rather than a serviced apartment. On the other hand, I'm not fussy!
The thing that you notice when you first walk in... well, is how it is much more cramped in the airport version compared to the regular versions of Adina. I guess that is normal, many of the airport hotels are similar... you are just getting single night travellers that just need a bed and very little else.
The narrow corridor does open out into a slightly larger living space... but again, it is about half the size of the regular versions! But still, more than large enough for a single or a couple... in fact, I find this size to be a better size... the other places are too big for a single traveller like me!
... and little bed area... weirdly, in the middle of everything... in fact, everything about this room layout was a touch on the weird side. It did end up forming into a weird tight loop... with two exits for the bathroom area. I guess much of it was just constraints on location and access due to the smaller floor space?
... and the view... nothing much to write home about. The lobby and entrance car loop of another hotel! That said, it isn't the WORST scene that I've seen outside my hotel window!
Se ve muy confortable el hotel gracias por compartir estimad @bengy
Thank, and thanks for dropping by to read!
A very comfortable hotel to stay at, the place looks beautiful and aesthetic
Comfy... and more than enough for an overnight stay!
That was an interesting read on the Adina. Thank you for sharing it.
Pleasure, many Adinas are quite similar... but this was a little bit unusual in due to the mostly airport users.
As you said for travelers, this hotel has the right criteria for stopping and resting overnight. The room is good, I think your night will be very comfortable there.
Have fun friends!.
Yep, nothing too fancy... but comfy. I do wonder if the kitchenette is really useful for overnight guests though!
Maybe it's useful for some people. Just heating the food you brought or boiling instant noodles.
Congratulations @bengy! Your post made the TravelFeed team happy so we have sent you our big smile. Keep up the good job. 😃
