The Tree of Life - At least thats what I will call this amazing tree right at the beach in Coolum Beach, Australia.
I call it like that not only because it reminds me a little to Avatar but also because that tree is truly full of life. First of all it is huge and so beautiful and looks really healthy. I´m not 100% sure but think it could be a fig tree. Maybe someone else knows better.
As you get closer to the tree you start to hear a lot of noise...not annoying noise, beautiful sounds of birds, because that tree is full of them if you come at the right time of the day.
As soon as you walk under the canopy of this tree and look up you will see them...dozens of cockatoo, not sure which ones as there are about 18 different species.
I noticed that most of them sit in pairs and not alone. It was so cute to see them cuddle together. I think that they spend most of the day in that tree to escape the heat?! Ok its not that hot right now but in summer it can get really challenging here on the Sunshine Coast.
There are also lots of other birds, especially australian ravens that are very clever. As soon as I pointed the lens on them they changed their position. Almost seemed like they were scared of the camera. I really like to watch them and see how they behave.
I´ve been here many many times but haven´t realised how good that tree is. Will definitely spend more time over here as it is just around the corner from where we life.
I mean who doesn´t want to spend freetime at such a beautiful place in the shade of this awesome tree. Not to mention the beach, which can hardly be surpassed in terms of beauty.

Seems you were in stilt mode as the birds didn't move, rather, they were giving different poses for the pictures. The birds Look quite fluffy from a distance but again, they are birds 😅.
The tree looks indeed like it's full of life, the way it spreads beautifully.

thanks for your comment. Yes they are in chill/sleep mode and don´t get scared away. Also they were high up in the tree unreachable for me. The ones with the yellow head are even cuter but a bit noisy :)
