Hello everyone, yesterday I talked about Rumeli Hisarı. Today I will talk about the Âşiyan museum, which is located close to Rumeli Hisarı. After leaving the Hisarı, I moved towards the museum from the coastal road. After about 20 minutes, I reached the museum. Actually, the museum was not that far. I had to walk uphill for about 7-8 minutes to get to the museum, so it was a bit difficult for me.
Herkese merhaba, dün Rumeli Hisarı'ndan bahsetmiştim. Bugün Rumeli Hisarı'na yakın bir noktada konumlanan Âşiyan müzesinden bahsedeceğim. Hisarın olduğu yerden ayrıldıktan sonra sahil yolundan müzenin olduğu yere doğru hareket ettim. Yaklaşık 20 dakikalık bir süre sonunda müzenin olduğu yere ulaştım. Aslında müze o kadar uzak değildi. Müzeye ulaşmak için yaklaşık 7-8 dakika yokuş çıktım. Dolayısıyla bu beni biraz zorladı.
The attendant told me that it would close at 17.00. If I remember correctly, I arrived at the museum around 16.50. I asked the attendant to give me five or ten minutes more time. He was very gracious. The interior of the museum was really great. However, since it is forbidden to take photos and videos inside, I will not be able to show you those beauties.
Görevli saat 17.00'da kapanacağını söyledi. Yanlış hatırlamıyorsam saat 16.50 gibi müzenin bulunduğu yere ulaşmıştım. Görevliden beş, on dakika kadar bana ek zaman vermesini istedim. Sağ olsun beni kırmadı. Müzenin iç kısmı gerçekten harikaydı. Ancak iç kısımda fotoğraf ve video çekmek yasak olduğu için sizlere o güzellikleri gösteremeyeceğim.
But the attendant told me that I could take a landscape photo from the window. At least I took a few photos from there 😅 I guess there is no need to describe the view too much. Although I came to Istanbul reluctantly, I think I started to love Istanbul a lot 🙂
Ancak görevli pencereden manzara fotoğrafı çekebileceğimi söyledi. En azından ordan birkaç kare fotoğraf aldım. 😅 Manzarayı sanırım çok fazla anlatmaya gerek yok. İstanbul'a her ne kadar istemeyerek gelsem de sanırım İstanbul'u fazlasıyla sevmeye başladım. 🙂
There are quite a lot of rooms in the house, which is called a museum. It is known that Tevfik Fikret, one of the important names of Turkish literary figures, and his family lived in this house. Inside; There are many rooms such as the living room, the room reserved for the literature department, the kitchen, the bedroom, Tevfik Fikret's study room, etc. In addition, a guide in charge of the interior of the museum informs you about the necessary issues.
Müze olarak adlandırılan evin içerisinde oldukça fazla oda bulunuyor. Türk edebiyatçıların önemli isimlerinden biri olan Tevfik Fikret ve ailesinin bu evde yaşadığı biliniyor. İçerde; Salon, edebiyat bölümü için ayrılan oda, mutfak, yatak odası, Tevfik Fikret'in çalışma odası vs birçok oda bulunuyor. Ayrıca müzenin iç kısmında görevli bir rehber sizlere gerekli konularda bilgilendirme yapıyor.
The outside of the museum is as beautiful as the inside. Especially the back side with the garden is worth seeing. Anyway, since the front facade of the museum directly overlooks the Bosphorus, there is no need to explain it too much. Honestly, I would love to live in a house like this 🙂 Who wouldn't...
Müzenin dış kısmı en az içi kadar güzel. Özellikle bahçenin bulunduğu arka taraf görülmeye değer. Zaten müzenin ön cephesi direk boğaza baktığı için onu çok fazla anlatmaya gerek yok. Açıkçası böyle bir evde yaşamak isterdim. 🙂 Kim istemez ki...
Tevfik Fikret's cemetery is located on the eastern side of the museum, that is, in the backyard. It welcomes you in a beautiful place among trees and greenery. Although some of his works and views are debated today, I think it is necessary to respect him. After all, he worked and made an effort to produce something.
Müzenin doğu kısmı yani arka bahçe tarafında Tevfik Fikret'in mezarlığı bulunuyor. Ağaçların ve yeşilliklerin arasında güzel bir yerde sizi karşılıyor. Bazı eserleri, görüşleri her ne kadar günümüzde tartışılsa da bence saygı duymak gerekiyor. Sonuçta bir şeyler üretmek için emek vermiş, çaba sarf etmiş.
After visiting the part of the garden, I took a few photos and left the museum. It was not easy to descend the slopes that I had difficulty coming down. 😅
