Hello everyone, I hope you are well and everything is going smoothly. In my last post, I mentioned the fish farm we visited in the Black Sea. I can say that my Black Sea vacation went very well. Today, I will talk about the vacation I took in my hometown, and in the coming days, I will share different places with you. I hope you enjoy it.
Herkese merhaba, umarım iyisinizdir ve her şey yolundadır. Son gönderimde Karadeniz’de gittiğimiz balık çiftliğinden bahsetmiştim. Karadeniz tatili benim için çok iyi geçmişti diyebilirim. Bugün ise kendi memleketimdeki yaptığım tatilden bahsedeceğim ve önümüzdeki günlerde farklı yerleri sizlerle paylaşacağım. Umarım eğlenirsiniz.
After the Black Sea, on my way back to my hometown, I honestly felt like I was in the desert. 😅 Of course, this doesn't mean I don't love my hometown. I just enjoy spending time in green areas, in regions where nature reigns supreme, more. As you can see in the first photos, there are almost no trees along the road or in the surrounding area. Unfortunately, this situation poses a significant threat for the coming years.
Karadeniz’den sonra kendi memleketime giderken açıkçası kendimi çölde gibi hissettim. 😅 Tabi bu durum memleketimi sevmediğim anlamına gelmiyor. Sadece yeşillik alanlarda, doğanın hakim olduğu bölgelerde vakit geçirmekten daha çok keyif alıyorum. İlk fotoğraflarda gördüğünüz üzere yol üzerinde ve civarda neredeyse hiç ağaç yok. Maalesef ki bu durum gelecek yıllar için büyük tehlike.
Today I will be talking about the Göksu River. As you descend towards the lake, you will see that the General Directorate of Forestry is carrying out afforestation work in the area. There is a sign about this. In short, it is a promising situation for the coming years. I hope that this work will increase in the coming years and that the area will become as green as the Black Sea.
Bugün ki değineceğim yer Göksu nehri. Göle doğru inerken Orman genel müdürlüğünün bölgede ağaçlandırma çalışma yaptığını göreceksiniz. Bununla ilgili bir tabelada mevcut. Kısaca söylemek gerekirse gelecek yıllar için umut verici bir durum. Umarım önümüzdeki yıllarda bu çalışma artar ve etraf Karadeniz gibi yeşillenir.
After passing through the mountain roads, we reached the river. It wasn't actually very far from our village, but it was the first time I had seen this river. It was much more beautiful than I had heard and seen on social media. After parking the car on the side of the road, my uncle and I took lots of photos from the bridge. You can see the color of the water, right? It was really impressive.
Dağ yollarından geçtikten sonra nehrin olduğu yere ulaştık. Aslında konum olarak köyümüze çok uzak bir yerde değil ancak bu nehri ilk defa gördüm. Anlatılanlardan ve sosyal medyada gördüklerimden çok daha güzeldi. Arabayı yol kenarına bıraktıktan sonra dayımla birlikte köprünün üzerinden bol bol fotoğraf çektik. Suyun rengini görüyorsunuz demi? Gerçekten çok etkileyiciydi.
It's not very clear in the photo, but the actual historic bridge was about 150 meters ahead of where we were standing. We walked over to explore that area, but we couldn't get close because it was cordoned off with ropes. They probably closed it off because they were going to renovate it. This bridge, which has witnessed many memories and history, has retained its natural appearance from the day it was built to the present day. Frankly, it made me a little sad that it was closed. I would have loved to see it up close.
Fotoğrafta çok fazla belli olmuyor ancak buradaki asıl tarihi köprü durduğumuz yerin yaklaşık 150 metre ilerisindeydi. O tarafları gezmek için yürüdük ancak tellerle kapattıkları için yanına yaklaşamadık. Muhtemelen tadilata alacakları için kapatmışlar. Birçok anıya, tarihe şahitlik eden bu köprü görünüş itibarıyla yapıldığı günden günümüze kadar doğallığını koruyarak gelmiş. Açıkçası kapalı olması beni bi tık üzdü. Daha yakından görmeyi çok isterdim.
The area below where we parked the car was open for walking. Since there weren't many houses in the surrounding areas, it was relatively quiet. I walked along the lake for about 5-10 minutes. If the weather hadn't been so hot, I would probably have spent more time there and walked further. Due to the influence of the river water, there were many poplar trees along the road. If more poplar trees were planted near the water, it would create a much more beautiful view in terms of greenery.
Arabayı park ettiğimiz yerin alt tarafı yürüyüşe açıktı. Civar bölgelerde fazla ev olmadığı için biraz sessizlik hakimdi. Göl boyunca yaklaşık 5-10 dakika kadar yürüyüş yaptım. Hava sıcak olmasaydı muhtemelen daha fazla vakit geçirip daha fazla yürürdüm. Nehirdeki suyun etkisiyle yol boyunca birçok kavak ağacı bulunuyordu. Suyun yakınlarına daha fazla kavak ağacı dikilse yeşillik anlamında çok daha güzel bir görüntü olabilir.
There was a small mosque and fountain for visitors from outside. We couldn't drink water from the fountain because there was a water shortage. Even though there were thousands of tons of water in the lake, we left the area without drinking even a glass of water. 😅
We spent about 40 minutes there. If we hadn't been pressed for time, we could have stayed longer. Overall, I really liked the Göksu River, especially its color, which was magnificent.

Dışardan gelen ziyaretçiler için küçük bir mescit ve çeşme bulunuyordu. Su kesintisi olduğu için çeşmeden su içemedik. Gölde binlerce ton su olmasına rağmen bir bardak bile su içemeden bölgeden ayrıldık. 😅
Yaklaşık olarak 40 dakika kadar vakit geçirdik. Vaktimiz kısıtlı olmasaydı daha fazla vakit geçirebilirdik. Genel olarak Göksu nehrini çok beğendim, özellikle rengi muhteşemdi.

It's sad that with so much water, there is no drinking water, but the river is a really beautiful color. I am a lover of rivers, so I am always happy when I see photos and stories about rivers unknown to me. Thanks for the new knowledge.
Aww. The river(lake first come on my mind😅😁) I love the view and how you captured it. And i love river too especially with a waterfalls on it. Hehe.
