A GENTLE LOVELY GREETINGS TO ALL FREE-FOLKS IN THIS REALM!!

This part of the FATHER-DAUGHTER journey is now finish. I am happy to share it with you all! It always gives me a sickness, of which my soul always will be longing to this kind of venture. But don't worry, I will still going to blog my other ventures! And also a day in my life. My gentle folks, thank you for being here with me during this adventure tale. See you to the future tales I shall be serving for my free gentle guests.♡

HOBBIT2.png

Ate Sarah one of my Papa's co-worker's wife invited me to go to a tour around the Island. But before that, I wander around the resort, again. And I walked by to this Hobbit like roads, it really awakens my Hobbit character (I'm a fan of Lord of the Rings, by the way).

HOBBIT3.png

Hayy, one day I will be back in here wearing a hobbit costume with my love @blip-blop.

We accommodate a service tour vehicle "Tuktuk" from the hotel. It has prices regarding to how many hours you want to spend. We only spend for like 2 hours. Our first spot was the fish massage where you can soak your feet in the pond, the second spot is the church, and third spot is the hidden falls.

THE TOURIST SPOTS WE VISTED

FISH SPA: OLD ECHANTED BALETE TREE

I only had this photo, next to me was Ate Sarah :). In this spot it has a big tree called Old Enchanted Balete Tree. And also it has stores where you can buy keychains, and other handmade crafts, as well as food stalls.

SAN ISIDRO LABRADOR PARISH CHURCH

Lazi Church, officially known as San Isidro Labrador Parish Church, is a Roman Catholic church located in the municipality of Lazi, Siquijor, Philippines. This historic building is a national cultural treasure of the Philippines and is rich in history, dating back to the 19th century.

CAMBUGAHAY FALLS

falls1.png

When reaching the falls, you must walk down the stoned stairway, which is very tiring but it is all worth it. The Cambugahay Falls has three storey floor mini-falls. And the photo above is the 3rd floor falls. As you can see the people patiently waiting for their time to get a picture or a video clip in a floating wood beside the falls. And you can just hand your phone to the staff and they are the ones to take a picture not only they can perfectly take a photo while swinging from the rope attached to the tree so they can capture the clip of every people on the floating wood, they are also friendly and accommodating.

This is the peek of 2nd floor falls, and as you can see there are many cabins to stay in and there are also people from the resort if you want a look out that will secure your belongings while you're enjoying, you just need to pay them any amount since it will go to the donation they are raising. And one thing that people also love is that there are two wooden high floor jump off which can you see a green wood staircase in the picture. It is only available on the 1st floor of the falls.

And here's the another peek of 2nd floor falls.

Untitled design (2).png

Sadly, I don't have any pictures for the 1st floor falls since I was eagerly excited to swim and forgot to take pictures. My apologies.

And this is our tour during my birthday, we went back to the resort and had our rest. By the way, I forgot to include the the evening peek of the resort. So, here's a quick peek.

COCO GROVE's OLYMPIC POOL

Untitled design (3).png

The resort Olympic Pool is about 10 feet, and I know how to swim but that kind of deep I'll be drowning LOL. And beside the pool, it has a bar. I still went to swim but only to the stairway floor before the 10ft deep pool LOL.

When the morning came, we pack our belongings to be ready when we arrived after the next tour together with Papa and his co-workers, and also the day that we leave the Island. So the tour was quite fast LOL but still we enjoyed it!

We visited the scenic cliff, the church same to what we had visited the day before, the cave, and falls which is the same to what we had visited, and the fish spa. But since I already took a pictures of some of the spots that we toured. Here's the peek of the cliff and the cave.

PITOGO CLIFF NATURE PARK

Untitled design (4).png

Before you can reach the cliff spot you will come through across a weirdly tree, I don't know if it's a pine tree or maybe a pine tree?

And here are pictures of me and Papa.

Just look at the crystal clear vast ocean. This is much of an unwind to the soul.

SAMBULAWAN: UNDERGROUND RIVER

Untitled design (5).png

Before we came down to the cave, the staff had a short orientation regarding on what to do, and afterwards they gave each one of those people who will go with the river tour, and I am one of those people. So I wear my lifejacket and a headlight. My apologies again, but I did not take any pictures when we're going down to the cave since the steel stairway is slippery and muddy.

The following photos may be blurred or lopsided since I took it from my video clip. I only video the surroundings. My apologies again.

Minutes after, I was bathing with my own sweats. And I did not longer joined the group who will diving into the underground river. Literally, I had a mild anxiety attacked. Since, it was my first time venturing in a cave. Me, just thinking that time "So this what it feels like...".

Here are some more clips of the cave.

You can see the bats just sleeping above. Sorry little bats for disturbing y'all peace.

And afterwards, we went to the falls, and after the tour we went back to the resort and ready ourselves to say goodbye to the COCO GROVE and to the Beautiful gem of Siquijor Island.

After we leave the resort and going to the port, I felt longingness. And I still feel it until today.

Here are some pictures that I took before leaving the resort.

I can confidently recommend you the COCO GROVE BEACH RESORT to anyone who will visit the SIQUIJOR ISLAND. It may be pricey, but it is worth of every penny. Starting from the staff who are very accommodable and friendly, to the pools, and other necessities hall, down to the beach, their island activities, and many more!

FAREWELL TO THE ISLAND FULL OF BEAUTIES AND HIDDEN GEMS! AS I COME BACK AGAIN!

Untitled design (6).png

LOL you can see in my face that I my soul just left behind the Island, us Filipino we jokingly called it "SABAW" LOL.

Thank you again folks for reading to the first venture up to this last! I hope that your soul feel the warm embrace of the Island! See you on my next ventures!

sending you hearts, hearts, and sourdelights!♡♡♡
