Caracas la capital de Venezuela, cuan de grandes personajes de nuestra historia como Simón Bolívar libertador de cinco naciones; Caracas, la ciudad de los techos rojos, ha sido inspiración para músicos, pintores y poetas.

Hace 453 años un conquistador español llamado Diego de Lozada dio inicio a la construcción de nuestra ciudad, donde hoy en día se centran todos los poderes de la nación. Hablar de Caracas es hablar de un estilo de vida es agitado, una vida llena de emociones, donde no hay lugar para el aburrimiento, por ser una de las ciudades más Cosmopolitan de Latinoamérica. Parece mentira pero en 25 años que tengo viviendo en esta ciudad no he podido terminar de recorrerla por completo, aún hay muchos sitios que quisiera poder conocer y disfrutar.
453 years ago a Spanish conquistador named Diego de Lozada began building our city, where today all the powers of the nation are centered. To talk about Caracas is to talk about a lifestyle that is hectic, a life full of emotions, where there is no room for boredom, for being one of the most cosmopolitan cities in Latin America. It seems like a lie but in the 25 years that I have lived in this city I have not been able to finish visiting it completely, there are still many places that I would like to visit and enjoy.

En la esquina de San Jacinto, justo en frente de la plaza el venezolano podrás encontrar la casa natal del libertador, allí se conservan muchas cosas de la época, como por ejemplo la cama donde nació Simón Bolívar y muchas pertenencias de su madre y sus hermanas. Hay algo que me gusta mucho de este lugar y son los cuadros que el famoso pintor Tito Salas realizó, evocando cada uno de los momentos desde que Bolívar era un niño. Creo que el que más me gusta es el del matrimonio de Bolívar con Doña María Teresa del Toro y Alaiza.
*** Espero en alguna oportunidad poder entrar a la casa y así tomarles fotos de todo esto que les cuento para que conozcan un poco más. Lamentablemente en este momento no es posible visitar porque están cerrados por la cuarentena.***
In the corner of San Jacinto, right in front of the Venezuelan square you can find the birthplace of the liberator, there are many things from that time, such as the bed where Simon Bolivar was born and many belongings of his mother and sisters. There is something that I like very much about this place and that is the paintings that the famous painter Tito Salas made, evoking each and every moment since Bolivar was a child. I think the one I like the most is the one of Bolivar's marriage to Doña María Teresa del Toro and Alaiza.
I hope to be able to enter the house sometime and take pictures of all this that I am telling you so that you can get to know a little more. Unfortunately at this moment it is not possible to visit because they are closed due to the quarantine.
Muchos de estas casa fueron rescatadas y remodeladas para convertirlas en sitios de lectura, museos, cafetines, donde puedes sentarte un rato y tener una conversación amena o de negocios con mucha tranquilidad.
Many of these houses were rescued and remodeled to become places of reading, museums, cafes, where you can sit for a while and have a pleasant conversation or business with much tranquility.

El centro histórico de la capital venezolana siempre esta concurrida de sus residentes en especial los alrededores de la plaza Bolívar, por acá podrás encontrar edificaciones coloniales como la casa que Bolívar le compro a su esposa pero que no pudo ser habitada por la temprana e inesperada muerte de la misma.
The historical center of the Venezuelan capital is always crowded with residents, especially around Plaza Bolivar. Here you can find colonial buildings such as the house that Bolivar bought for his wife but could not be inhabited due to her early and unexpected death.
También encontraremos el Palacio Arzobispal, el concejo Municipal, ubicado en la esquina de monjas y muchos sitios más todos ubicados en torno a la plaza.
We will also find the Archbishop's Palace, the City Council, located on the corner of the nuns and many other sites all located around the square.

Al pasar por la plaza pude ver que ya estaba siendo adornada para la navidad, aun no deja que la gente pueda pasar ya que también recientemente decoraron con estos hermosos jardines flotantes, que me parecen espectaculares y están muy bien cuidados. La Plaza Bolívar de Caracas está ubicada en la Parroquia Catedral del Municipio Libertador. Ya presente en la fundación de la ciudad en 1567, se llamaba Plaza Mayor, donde fungía un mercado popular, luego cambia de nombre a Plaza Bolívar.
As I passed by the square I could see that it was already being decorated for Christmas, it still doesn't let people in since they also recently decorated with these beautiful floating gardens, which I think are spectacular and very well cared for. The Bolivar square of Caracas is located in the Cathedral Parish of the Libertador Municipality. Already present at the foundation of the city in 1567, it was called Plaza Mayor, where a popular market used to be, then it changes its name to Plaza Bolivar

De este sitio solo puedo decir que es en la actualidad centro de polémica y discordia social y política que generan la mayor incertidumbre entre los venezolanos.

Les presento este edificio donde se encuentra ubicada la Cancillería de Venezuela, ubicada en la esquina "Principal" a un costado de la "Plaza Bolívar" Sobre esta puerta se muestra el balcón donde un día Don Vicente Emparan, enviado representante del Rey de España le pregunta al pueblo que allí se concentraba que si querían que el gobierno español los siguiera mandando, a lo que el pueblo dijo "NO". A partir de allí comenzaron a darse los primeros pasos para la independencia de Venezuela.
I present you this building where the Venezuelan Chancellery is located, on the "Main" corner, next to the "Bolivar Square". Above this door is the balcony where one day Don Vicente Emparan, the representative of the King of Spain, asked the people who were gathered there if they wanted the Spanish government to continue sending them, to which the people said "NO". From there, the first steps towards Venezuela's independence began to be taken.

La catedral de Caracas está ubicada en la esquina de "Torre", en esta catedral se han suscitado grandes hechos históricos de nuestra patria, y también fue el sitio donde fueron sepultados los restos del Padre de la Patria a su llegada de Colombia, donde había muerto en el año 1830. Allí se encuentran sepultados los restos mortales de los padres de Bolívar y la esclava Matea Bolívar.
The cathedral of Caracas is located in the corner of "Torre", in this cathedral have been raised great historical events of our country, and was also the site where the remains of the Father of the Country were buried on arrival from Colombia, where he had died in 1830.
