One of the first things that caught my eye was the white chocolate gorilla. You may have seen animal sculptures, but this one was extremely realistic. The gorilla's expression and body looked so natural that I almost believed it was real. It was not only impressive, but it also created a sense of life and dynamism.
Then I moved on to the next exhibit, a chocolate elephant standing on scorched earth. It was a powerful visual metaphor that showed two possible directions for the future. One was bright and promising, while the other was reminiscent of devastation and hopelessness. This work was not only beautiful, but also profound, provoking reflections on the state of our world.
I could not miss a cute composition dedicated to the comic characters Asterix. These chocolate sculptures were incredibly precise and funny, recreating the typical humor and color of these beloved characters. It was a real pleasure to get acquainted with them in such an original form.
Gaudi’s iconic building was also on display at the museum, as a chocolate interpretation of the architectural masterpiece that captured the unique and organic style of this great master. This was one of the most striking and impressive parts of the exhibition.
For movie lovers, the museum also offered something special – chocolate sculptures of characters from Star Wars. The images of these iconic characters looked so detailed and lifelike that they felt like they were about to come to life at any moment.
If you are a fan of the movie Up!, then the chocolate sculptures of the characters from it are something that cannot be forgotten. Carl and his balloon house were recreated in an incredibly cute and picturesque way. Also, when I got to the chocolate scene from The Smurfs, I couldn’t help but smile. They were sculpted with so much attention to detail that they looked like they came right out of the screen.
Then I came across Josep Balcells' Chicken Little, whose depiction was also incredibly interesting and accurate. It was a very bright and fun part of the exhibition, bringing a lightness and freshness to the whole experience.
Finally, I enjoyed the incredible Bambi chocolate geoites. They were so exquisite, crafted with incredible attention to detail, that they perfectly captured the emotions and tenderness of this classic animated film.
The entire visit was not only sweet, but also visually inspiring, with each sculpture telling its own story and immersing us in a world of art, chocolate, and imagination. The museum is truly unique and offers incredible fun for all ages, while showcasing chocolate in a way you’ve never seen before :)
