When the heat is intense, and a sudden downpour cools everything, it feels like stumbling upon an Oasis in the desert. The weather transforms from sweltering heat to a pleasant, cool breeze.I decided to visit the most peaceful and beautiful village of my city to enjoy the weather.

Let's begin our journey. Along the roadside, there's a nursery stretching for about two kilometers. After the rains, it becomes even more beautiful. What a fantastic business idea! The space is utilized, and it also adds to the beauty of the environment.

These stones, sourced from a distant riverbank, are brought here for people to take home and use as decorative pieces

A good travelogue is one that showcases the local culture, traditions, and people. Here, life is so simple and uncomplicated that people set up their shops without any formalities and make a living by selling their goods. This tiny shop is made out of a small cloth stall, offering a variety of colorful and intricately designed items.

In ancient times, before the advent of steel and metal utensils, people used to craft clay pots. But even today, the older generation here continues to use these earthenware vessels, keeping the memories alive.

The shopkeeper had excellent manners. As I was taking pictures of the pots laid out on the ground, he said, 'Take a picture of me too and post it on Facebook so people can buy from us.' He added, 'We're sitting here hoping for customers to support our children. Whenever you see stalls like ours, please make it a point to buy from them.

He had many items, and let me tell you about a few. There's something called 'gullah' in the local language, which is used to collect money. It has a designated slot on top for coins. The entire thing is made of clay and decorated with colorful designs. It's mostly purchased for young children.

This is a hookah. Before cigarettes were invented, people used to smoke using this. The smoke reaches the lungs without any filter, making it even more harmful.

This is used to scrub the heels of the feet. It helps to remove dead skin, leaving the skin soft and smooth. Many people here still use it.

This is placed on rooftops to provide water for birds. It's especially useful when placed near sparrows' nests.

As I passed by here, I noticed these huts and thought I'd show them to you. These people periodically shift locations, migrating to places that suit the season. Their traditional occupation is begging. The women spend the entire day begging in markets and homes, collecting money or whatever they can get. They beg with a sense of entitlement.

There's also a woodcutting machine here. People have cut down trees recklessly for decoration. This wood will be sold in markets. I'm not against tree cutting per se, but everything should be done in a balanced way so that the environment isn't adversely affected by indiscriminate cutting.

Children are one of God's greatest blessings in this world. Whether they belong to any living being, I find them incredibly endearing.

As I continued my journey, I came across these individuals. Just two people were unloading this truck for four hours straight. When I approached them, they were surprised. I had a friendly conversation with them and encouraged them. I'm amazed that even in this era of technology, people are still doing such labor-intensive work.

The calluses on their hands tell the story of their tireless hard work. It's God's way of distributing tasks, connecting people to different kinds of work. Each person has a unique responsibility to keep this world's system running.

Childhood is truly a magical time. One is completely free from worldly responsibilities. All they care about is playing, and rest isn't a hobby for them. Unlike us, who relax in our free time, children prioritize play even when they're not occupied.

The farmers are growing a crop of rice. The more effort they put in, the better the yield will be. There's a popular saying that goes, 'As you sow, so shall you reap.'

This scene was the most beautiful part of the entire journey. A small canal runs alongside the road, which will irrigate the crops. I savored this view for quite some time. The gentle breeze and this scenery have become etched in my memories.

This is the head of the canal, where the water flow is controlled. The roar of the water is so loud that it feels intimidating as you approach. The water pressure is so strong that even a skilled swimmer wouldn't be able to swim out of it.

Our region is desert, and camels are considered the local animal. Villagers use them for carrying goods. I'll visit a desert region next time. Thank you for being my companion on this journey.
I hope you enjoyed my travelouge, see you next 💫
the farmers set the example of hard work, responsability and hospitality, however, in third world countries are typically the less favored by governments
Absolutely agree!
Their hard work and dedication deserve more recognition and support.
