I need to venture more South 🤔 for another reason, lol. I had a good friend growing up that moved her from Brazil. He was awesome and his parents were cool. I seen many pictures of their time there. They were from Salvador. Capitals always have something different about them though.

Oh good, you can visit your friend, it's a very interesting country, it depends where you go it seems a big city, a jungle, a paradisiac beach, an European city, or something else... but good people there. 😊
